[Explicit lyrics, partially excessive bass!]

This time went the other way round: inspired by the last track I wanted to make another instrumental Lo-Fi track. Wanted to spice it up with some vocal bits and found this strange, charismatic vocals on my hard drive - and immediately fell in love with them!

Had to pitch them up a little and they were the perfect fit, a match made in Heaven!? Or, rather the other place, considering the dark and mysterious image of the singer.

So it's DEFINITELY not an actual re-mix... but what? A re-boot, a re-make... a re-imagining? Or neither... I just listened to the original one when my track was basically finished, great short experimental piece... but totally different! Only added some of the sound effects from the original afterwards cause they were a perfect addition to MY (much longer) track. 

It's not that hard to find the original one, given the link above (I didn't mention her name!)... You decide which one you like better. Well if you ask me... the much longer one of course! If only a bit...  ;)

*) "arranging" because: Still having distressing little knowledge of musical theory, keys & chords doesn't qualify me as a composer. Mastering not a single musical instrument (disregarding some amateur drum skills and some lousy chords on guitar) won't qualify me as a (pro) musician either. "Producer"? Well, having dived into the world of producing/mixing only two, three years ago, jumping from DAW to DAW, mainly following a  bricolage approach (and my ears) on a trial and error course? So no, not "by profession".

Starting with "found footage" (samples / sounds / VSTs), or by just floundering about on the keyboard while trying out a new plugin, I never know where the musical journey leads me. [Well, except for, let's say, in a Techno/Trance direction, that's just not part of my musical nature... So if you're looking for some monotonic electronic beats, better look somewhere else!
