I made this song during summer! I was thinking about my life!
Calm life with some bad surprises sometimes. This year is one of my worst! No money and a lot of work. But I'm grateful to still have a job.
Our world is in bad shape, and we don't know when and if we will recover!

My boring life is nothing compared to all this sadeness I feel in the air.
This is not a super hyper great song but there is part of my heart in it.
I started with a synth bass pattern and added the drums.
All other parts are improvised with virtual instruments. I reworked the drums after all the other parts.

My Boring Life

This song is a soundtrack for frosty winter days. A little bit experimental. The main synth is Korg Volca Keys. Some eDrum percussion, digital synth sounds, a few analog guitar sounds, a triangle and a little wind.

I have always loved this song by Robert Palmer, but I always imagined it at a slower tempo to allow the words to resonate a little more. Rather fun perfecting a perfectionist, I hope Robert doesn't mind, in fact I wish he'd come back and do the vocal. Expanded version of Blink Twice's 2nd album (originally released 1998), with bonus never before released material from 2000-2003

"Newer Unknown Breeds" was at the time a further development in sound for Blink Twice. The album expanded on the techno and electro genre much more than Blink Twice's debut "Other Locations". There was an increase usage of sampling on this collection of material, often with looped effects incorporated to add further density. With the blend of tribal and industrial elements remaining, it serves as an adventurous concoction of experimental rhythmic and darker ambient electronic music.
