Cess Citizen has spent five years writing his thoughts, feelings, and conclusions. This is how CESS CITIZEN has come to be a recording artist: one who looks past the normal oppression and into the characters and themes that make up the turmoil. The impact of his recent release, ‘Falling In Style’ is a vivid illustration of how Cess’s writing process finds balance in a chaotic world – working in conjunction with instrument based music, each song’s message is received either quickly or later with a powerful realization. Continuity is heard throughout the album’s musicality and lyrical elements that hold true to the ongoing theme of the album, which is growth and responsibility. Focus on family, business, and social responsibilities is Cess’s way of navigating the known and unknown in order to curate balance. Cess considered cadence very much to successfully collaborate with the smooth, upbeat, slow, melodic, and ambient sounds that make up the track list; this further advocated the album’s purest essence to come to a balanced conclusion by exploring what is known and not known – thus experiencing the process of growth. With an array of verses, bridges, and choruses: Cess Citizen is able to take the listener on a brief growth journey that ends where the listener starts.

Presenting himself to the world as Rude in 2012, born in Mozambique - Maputo, entered the field of music production in 2008 at the age of 12, influenced by the curiosity in the use of software for creating and editing sounds. This curiosity was then pushed to the limit after discovering the world dance music scene, inspired by artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, among others, and also by the dream of moving large audiences on major stages in the world. After 3 years of success with some releases of the self-titled Chunky Bass, in 2015 Dj Rude was born, with his debut at the then biggest Night Club in Mozambique, Coconuts Live. He went international two years later and even went to the then largest night club in southern Africa, the Truth of Johannesburg - South Africa, and many others in that country. Managed by the Gloom Dj Agency since 2017, Rude is affiliated with the biggest promoter of events in Mozambique, Gloom Events, having already shared the stage with dozens of big names worldwide such as Black Coffee, Alok, Gregor Salto, Kyle Watson, Nora En Pure, Stimming , among others. In 2018, he took up residence at the prestigious beach club in the capital of Mozambique, South Beach Maputo. Started another residency at Cais 66 Maputo in 2021 and is still playing there. Rude is also known to play for the house music event planner Situation, mostly in their biggest franchise 100 Igual Festival. Currently producing themes for Bass House, Deep House, Melodic Techno, Rude continues to explore the world of music, cheering masses and delighting fans around the world.
