After a magical weekend on cloud 9, we are finally back on Earth. The adventure started in mind-blowing Canada, where we met one of the kindest crews we've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. From there, it proceeded through Poland to the magnificent LAS Festival, and finally to the Fusion Festival, what we call home. As soon as we reached the "Extravaganza" stage, we became completely overwhelmed.
However, it started to rain and we quickly decided to just let go of the crowd and start improvising as usual. Thanks a million times to everyone for this unforgettable moment who joined us in dancing, laughing and tears.

The Mystic Creatures Festival was the perfect way to end the summer. The location, the music, the people and the attention to detail made this first Mystic Festival one to remember.
I am soo grateful for the loyal, enthusiastic, energetic and supportive crowd at my set! Thank you so much! There were so many familiar faces at the festival, both old and new friends. What a family feeling :)
All in all, this was definitely the way to end the beloved festival season.

UREM @ Mystic Creatures Festival 2023

Sooo wir sind nach nem kleinen Urlaub nach den wundervoll actionreichen 2 Wochen auf der Mystic Island auch endlich wieder in der Realitäh gelandet! 
Jetzt könntZ ihr nämlich auch das Set vom ersten Sonnenuntergang im Creatures Corner nachlauschen!

Dieses Set hat eine ganz besondere Bedeutung für uns, weil endlich die Gelegenheit gekommen ist, eine der mystischsten Melodien, die sich seit der Kindheit in Käpt'nZ Köpf mietfrei eingenistet hat und ihn jedes mal verzaubert hat, als Intro zu verwenden! 
Das und die Gelegenheit gleichzeitig den Tänzer:innen einen kleinen Teil der Geschichte meines Stage/Floordesigns zu vermitteln, indem die besagten Lichter und Geräte, die wir das Jahr über vorgebaut haben (wie das ding aufm cover) während dem Introprolog genau getimed eingeschaltet wurden - zwar nicht so detailliert wie gewünscht aber die Leute hatten zumindest mal ne kleine Vorstellung wie dat mit dem Arkanenergiekreislauf aufm Floor da funz'n'iert hehe - jedenfalls wurde da ein kleiner Traum wahr❤️

Danke an mein wundervolles Team, ohne die dieser Traum nicht wahr geworden wäre und an alle, die beim Abriss dabei waren, obwohl wir das hüttchen doch grad erst aufgebaut haben höhö😛

Die Geschichte geht bestümmpt weiter (einen kleinen Hinweis gibts am Ende auch schon -> die Person, die es als erstes errät, ergattert nächstes Jahr eine kleine sürprise à la 12)😉

Weelll after a little vacation after the wonderful action-packed 2 weeks on the Mystic Island we also finally got back to the realitäh! 
and now you can also listen to the set of the first sunset in Creatures Corner!

This set has a very special meaning for us, because finally the opportunity has come to use one of the most mystical melodies as an intro, which has lived rent-free in Käpt'nZ head since his childhood and has enchanted him every time! 
That and the opportunity to explain the dancers a little part of the "storyline"  of my stage/floor design by turning on the lights and devices we've been building all year (like that thing on the cover) exactly timed during the intro prologue - not as detailed as I woulkd have loved to but at least the people had a little idea how the arcane energy circuit on the floor works hehe - anyway a little dream came true❤️

Thanks to my wonderful team, without which this dream would not have come true and to all who were there wobbling with their legs höhö😛 

To be continued... (there's already even a little hint at the end -> the person who guesses it first, gets a small sürprise à la 12 next year)😉

3 weeks holiday in the Philippines, after wonderful days in the sea diving or sunbathing on the beach, we came to Nacpan Beach. Here I knew immediately that would be the location for the set. So the evening before recording, I started looking for suitable tracks for the location. The next day the time had come and the set was created at 32° on the beach in blazing sun. Heute haben wir die in Berlin residierende DJ und Musikproduzentin MINJA zu Gast auf KataHaifisch. Für diesen ausgesprochen schönen Anlass hat sie ihr Live-Recording vom AfricaBurn mitgebracht. Describing the sound and sonics aesthetics of Robin Schellenberg’s music,
one could tend easily to use bold buzzwords like „Melodic Techno“ or „Deep
House“ – but there is something more to it: his productions oscillate
effortless through a soft dystopian void full of sweeping build up’s: His
tracks are drifting endlessly into an infinite sky, twisting from warm unisonos

into harsher electronics, just to break down into well-tempered saturated up-
tempo beats. It's not Dark Techno by definition, but Robin often gets driven

towards its aesthetic, without drifting into its cold industrial repetition. His
tracks feel like a deep yearning for the horizon, pulling the dancer tenderly
forward with soft melancholy. In his DJ-Set’s all of this falls into place, with
tempi from 119 – 125 bpm, blending deep, dark and psychedelic elements
into heavy sweeping bangers, to slowly lead the dance floor into a sweet and
endless decay.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.
