TOR and the When We Dip team proudly continue the label’s signature release series with the fourth edition of the Tales of Romance VA. As we continue to set the foundations of TOR’s sound and creative direction, this series showcases the pillars of the imprint in the years to come, and provides an explorative platform for our family of producers.

LEGATO enters the TOR fold in pristine fashion, setting us on our way with I'm Waiting For You. The Eton Messy regular harnesses percussive rhythms and meandering melodics in the early stages. The breaks welcome vocals filled with longing, as the groove revamps to create sensational dancefloor moments; a truly revitalizing start to our story with LEGATO at the helm.

Somethin' Sanctified also joins the label family with their debut on TOR, the groove-laden Sail Barge. The British duo revolve their sound around analog-drenched house with a touch of lo-fi, both timeless and innovative in nature. The ever-evolving arrangement is built upon an irresistible hook, keeping feet moving from start to finish.

Continuing the introductions, we welcome Argentina's latest & greatest melodic maestro - Cocho. Are We Different? takes a step into the deep while keeping us in house heaven. Supreme sampling sparkles throughout this dancefloor bomb, as chopped vocals balance punchy synth work. A big tune from one of the most promising producers of the moment.

Pedro Capelossi launched his lovely Lost in Translation project with us last month, and we're thrilled to have him back on board. He continues to purvey a sound of his own, utilizing a foundation of timeless character. Low-slung basslines greet trippy soundscapes, as ethereal jazzy tones capture the mind on The Usual Suspect.

Nau Leone is one of the only artists to present work on all three of the When We Dip labels, a testament to both his diversity and innate quality of production. Nieuwe elevants energy with vibrant melodics, before crisp house drums kick us right into the groove. A dreamy yet mature club number from the Spaniard.

To close out our journey, we welcome back the Irishman zenna for his second appearance on the Tales of Romance series. Dawn Moon is brimming with euphoric gusto, a tune built for peak-time moments spent with friends.

Lucefora, hailing from Argentina, partners with the UK’s Steve Kelley on Silk. With All Day I Dream and Souksonic under their respective belts, Lucefora and Mr. Kelley continue to impress with their first project on TOR. Melodies collide with a sturdy groove, as percussion and strings bring immense musicality to a rhythmic number. An elongated bridge christens magical dancefloor moments, a summer tune at its core.

Producers are the backbone of any label; developing supportive and genuine relationships with our artists is the core principle of XYZ's development. Our Oppo series is an ode to the figures that we feel are at the foundation of the label's journey thus far.

Emotional Tourist has cemented himself as a pillar of XYZ’s artistic direction over the last two years. The Romanian first caught the ear via an rhythmically groovy remix of DSF, and last year’s The Day The World Meets You showcased the Emotional Tourist sound in its finest forms.

Oppo gives full creative control to the producer, who essentially functions as the label head on the project. Curating sounds from artists around the world who've influenced his journey thus far, as well as a pristine production of his own, Emotional Tourist presents a project that fully represents his tastes as an artist.

Emotional Tourist sets the standard on the A1 with Alchimie De L’Univers. A warm & housey bassline meets swirling percussions in the early stages, as a breakbeat carries the groove into undeniably heady territory and Ondin’s wistful vocal work brings a franco-edge to the break.

Germany’s Koelle made his XYZ debut last year in alluring fashion. The classically trained musician out of Ingolstadt collected a stellar team on the Fall In Time EP, with vocalist Margret and producer Into The Ether each deeply involved throughout the release. After a raucous applause for the original material, we are thrilled to revisit the project with a riveting roster of remixers. As we dive into the new year. we happily present Fall In Time (The Remixes).

Greece’s DSF is at the forefront of a surging wave of modern deep house producers, blending sounds from across the international electronic spectrum. His funk-laden Fraoula EP showcased his knack for the unexpected, and we welcome him back on remix duty as he takes on the A-side. Fall In Time harnesses the original trio’s incredible brand of vocal melodic house, as Margret’s soaring chops meet DSF’s dreamy take on the melodics on this sublime cut.
