The Do Not Sit family continues to grow with artists from an array of countries and cultures. Everything Counts is the latest duo we welcome, hailing from Italian Switzerland, with their EP, “it’s Time”. Consisting of 5 tracks, the team of Toshka and Chris Leon packed a multitude of rich sounds across this EP, including two driving, moody remixes of Kamancheh from Majnoon and Socko.

In addition to the title track, “It’s Time”, “Sueño” features the illustrious songwriter, composer and producer Milo Kairos, and elegant strings across an engulfing and paceful rhythm.

'A stalwart, and in the true sense of the word (as well as being one of the nicest people you could hope to meet on a night out), Al Bradley has been obsessed with House Music from the moment he stepped through the doors of the seminal Hacienda night club in Manchester in the summer of 1989. It’s an obsession that’s lead him down a long and winding road, including 18 years and counting as a label boss, allowed him to feature on nearly 100 releases as well as celebrated residencies for powerhouses like Fabric London, Bugged Out Manchester and Pioneer DJ Radio. Being the kind of guy Al Bradley is though, he’s still also made time to kick it with the younger cats at spots like Stereosleaze (London) and Lip Service and Deadbeat Disco in his adopted hometown of Leeds. 

We’re genuinely over the moon to bring you this EP, and as such, we’ve complimented the originals with what we feel are some pretty dandy remixes, spread across both the Vinyl and Digital releases, coming from the likes of self-proclaimed “product of a mis-spent mancunion youth” Danny “Moodymanc” Ward, the vinyl enthusiast’s favourite Tommy “Vicari Jnr” and the ever evolving genius of Colour Series Label Boss “Jem Haynes”

His TOR debut alongside Darksidevinyl, Zaiana, has become an instant classic with its jazz-funk-infused percussive flavor. As we close out a year unlike any other, we’re thrilled to welcome the Georgian back to the imprint for his first solo outing - the Kesendirian EP.

Dripping in ominous tones and punchy synth work, Kesendirian captures a pristine balance of organic and synthetic tools. Tripped out vocals ebb & flow throughout, keeping wave lengths wandering while the live percussion gets feet moving. The A-side is brimming with afterhours vibes, as filters meander to create big builds between sections of hearty groove.

Jessica Saves makes a scintillating SOL debut this January with an intricate 3 track release titled ’Weekend On Alpha Centauri’. The title cut sets the scene immediately, coating lush, wavering synth-work and distant vocal samples in a dense, cosmic atmosphere that is truly palpable.  

‘Final Approach’ paints a picture of its own through the use of hypnotic pads and delicate melodic touches. The combination presents a flowing evolution that consumes the listeners and transports the mind far from home.  

Closing out the release is ‘The Forests Of Arion’, which presents a third chapter in the story. Similarly tense and beautifully textured, it offers up an inimitable experience of its own, contrasting a threatening low-end with entrancing melodies. It renders a dark yet hopeful conclusion.
