Red Alert is the new single and music video from Vietnamese Canadian electronic producer, filmmaker, and visual artist x/o, a life-affirming tale of pattern discovery, symbolism and intuition. 

The accompanying video, an ode to the Hong Kong neon soaked romances of director Wong Kar Wai, sees x/o as the protagonist in an unfolding narrative of blurred symbolism and sublime chaos. Through saturated neon cityscape we descend into a fictionalised inner realm; a journey of self-discovery, duality and catharsis.

Melancholic vocals collide with a flurry of distorted drum breaks, sirens and synth stabs, a blur of sonic texture reflecting in shards of reverb soaked vocals. A liminal poem about listening to one’s inner voice & protection from harm.
