This release is a little different from my usual line, results from an obvious folk influence and turns around quite dreamy lyrics and romantic musical arrangement. The mood of this song is about allowing yourself to imagine another life, feel another world, transform one another and, by embarking this imaginary journey, actually just to be. A 3:15 minutes glimpse to a lifetime voyage towards an untethered soul…

Realizing this song brought me a very nice surprise in the form of a pleasant new collaboration. The lyrics required a female voice and I had difficulties finding the ethereal but not immaterial one I had in mind. The challenge persisted for a couple of weeks until I got in touch with Hana Pavšič - the talented Slovenian artist who covered this song with her beautiful voice and brought the extra touch to it, giving it this enchanted atmosphere I was after for this Magic spell.

Prolific tracker composer. Played a few chiptune concerts. In some art packs.

Né à Bogota, Colombie en 1961, Rodrigo Caycedo habite en France depuis 1997.

"Chanteur-auteur-compositeur-interprète", on appelle ça un "Cantautor" en espagnol, a écrit plus de 300 chansons.

Rodrigo chante principalement l'amour.

Un romantique têtu avec un espoir difficile à détruire malgré les douleurs que parfois la vie fait subir.

Il chante donc l'amour de vivre, de donner, de recevoir, de se remettre sur pieds quand il le faut.

Il chante l'amour pour la planète, pour son fils, pour la femme, pour la famille.

Il chante l'amour pour la société, pour ses pays.

 "J'essaie de toucher le cœur dur des hommes qui nous font mal au quotidien avec leurs envies de pouvoir.

 Je chante aussi contre ce chagrin qui essaie de tuer les désirs de lutter pour nos rêves." -dit Rodrigo.

Sa musique est variée, avec bien sûr, un accent des rythmes latino-américains du à ses origines.

Il essaie de faire une musique pour le monde, humblement à la simple manière des anciens troubadours.

Il se nourrit de rencontres inédites avec des musiciens d'univers éclectiques qui donnent sur la scène des résultats vivants et inattendus.

Actuellement, il forme parti du groupe "Maghré-Cumbia" une rencontre singulière où s'entrecroisent les rythmes de l'orient avec les rythmes de l'Amérique latine.
