This Lost Minute episode features NAGA and his recorded live at the Lidokain Klub series at the A38 boat on 8th May 2022. Naga aka Balázs Fejér started his music career in the end-of-eighties' alternative era, debuting at Nap-Nap fest with his group Ivan Lendül. He was co-founder of the famous Hungarian pirate radio called Tilos. At first, he went crazy for the sound of acid-house, but looking for musical diversity, trip-hop and dub also popped up more and more on his radio shows. His visionary, storytelling sets at the early rave parties, the Katlan parties in Törökbálint, or Frankhegy are memorable experiences for the first generation. Later, inspired by his friend Kevin (Finecut Bodies), techno, electro and breakbeat added more color to his performances. He currently performs most often with his unmissable partner, Beta, and they share a passion for all forms of house music from minimal to Detroit. His eternal passion is to collaborate with other musicians, dream up workshops, and support young talent.

NAGA | Lost Minute Series Ep. 43 | 03/06/2022

On November 26, I performed at "Sonic Playground", the first event of our label "Petite Victory Collective". It took place at Urban 13 in Copenhagen.

This event was special in more ways than one to me. For one thing, it was the first time ever that I was allowed to play in front of a larger audience abroad. What a feeling to see the crowd dancing to my sounds - a true magical moment. The atmosphere was great and I received great feedback after the performance. 

I celebrate this momentum I decided to release the performance! It’s now available for pre-order on Bandcamp: "Live In Copenhagen" features 6 tracks plus the entire performance mixed together. They represent in a way the return to my former „Dawless“ sound, which I had to adopt for re-creation with my new DAW setup.

Some tracks are coming from my favorite genre, Dubhouse. I love to play endlessly around with chords and atmospheres using reverb and delay. I added a lot of textures to these tracks, which is my second favorite musical thing to do. But there are also rather untypical dance sounds like on "Heavy Traffic".

♫ About the artist: Zakhorov aka Fanni Zahár is a Budapest-born Berlin-based flutist, saxophone player, DJ and producer who is involved in countless musical projects across Europe, ranging from afrobeat and jazz to electronic music. Seeking to find ways to implement her instrumental play into diverse musical environments and the vast amount of experience with music projects such as Ábáse (DE), Deva (H), Joe Armon Jones (UK) and Pat Thomas (GH) to mention a few, she has put together a live set to freely delve into the depths of African-influenced bass and electronic music.

About Ekstendia:

Ekstendia (real name Andrey Afanasiev) originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. He's Passion and love for electronic music came in 1998, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, He acted as only a vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life.Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that's promoting dark industrial techno sound then In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on deep dub sound and which today is the main genre.

Feedthelizard is Benny Mcgrigors second project inspired by the years he has spent living on tropical islands in Thailand including Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. His musical style over this time has been delicately forged to energise ravers in paradise by taking them on deep, euphoric, groovy and sexy journeys adapted to fit day partys, sunset sessions on a beach to the underground vibes of a club.

As Feed the Lizard, Benny plays a wide range of styles from House, Disco, Funk to Deeptech, Deephouse, Minimal and House Music to keep the vibe right for the situation. Moreover, his knowledge gained through years of DJing and producing has allowed him to showcase his sound at festivals and events worldwide alongside managing weekly beach partys, running a DJ school, and underground music venue (The Studio Koh Tao) all in Thailand.

Benny’s first underground musical project, XENOSCAPES is a experimental form of Minimal Techno with a unique Dark, atmospheric yet Sexy and groovy vibe.
