On November 26, I performed at "Sonic Playground", the first event of our label "Petite Victory Collective". It took place at Urban 13 in Copenhagen.

This event was special in more ways than one to me. For one thing, it was the first time ever that I was allowed to play in front of a larger audience abroad. What a feeling to see the crowd dancing to my sounds - a true magical moment. The atmosphere was great and I received great feedback after the performance. 

I celebrate this momentum I decided to release the performance! It’s now available for pre-order on Bandcamp: "Live In Copenhagen" features 6 tracks plus the entire performance mixed together. They represent in a way the return to my former „Dawless“ sound, which I had to adopt for re-creation with my new DAW setup.

Some tracks are coming from my favorite genre, Dubhouse. I love to play endlessly around with chords and atmospheres using reverb and delay. I added a lot of textures to these tracks, which is my second favorite musical thing to do. But there are also rather untypical dance sounds like on "Heavy Traffic".

Ekstendia (real name Andrey Afanasiev) originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. He's Passion and love for electronic music came in 1998, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, He acted as only a vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life.Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that's promoting dark industrial techno sound then In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on deep dub sound and which today is the main genre.

Time has astonishing properties of variability. It can freeze like a transparent mist, allowing one to touch it. At other moments, time accelerates, transforming into a white streak of images that are even difficult to discern.
In Indo-Aryan languages, Samay means "time."Furthermore, Samay signifies an infinitely small fraction of time, a moment.
The piano composition with a voice that momentarily creates a sense of closeness, is surrounded by a delicate texture of chamber strings. The sounds move along a wavelike dynamic arc, slowly emerging from emptiness, and then fading away once again. 

Время имеет удивительные свойства изменчивости. Оно может замирать прозрачной дымкой, так что можно прикоснуться. В другой момент, время ускоряется, превращаясь в белую полосу картинок, которые даже сложно разглядеть.

Feedthelizard is Benny Mcgrigors second project inspired by the years he has spent living on tropical islands in Thailand including Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. His musical style over this time has been delicately forged to energise ravers in paradise by taking them on deep, euphoric, groovy and sexy journeys adapted to fit day partys, sunset sessions on a beach to the underground vibes of a club.

As Feed the Lizard, Benny plays a wide range of styles from House, Disco, Funk to Deeptech, Deephouse, Minimal and House Music to keep the vibe right for the situation.
