THE STORY 



 Born unexpected, in a night with full moon, under a strange sign.
 A dancing Creole mother and a Sakalava father with big ears gave life to a funny pair of twins, between some palmtrees and a gramophone...

 The parents called the girl Kick and the boy Snare.
Their first word was: ''beat''.
and their first wonder: ''mama what is head-nodding?''

 So, the Kick and the Snare had the dream to travel the world and collect traditional recordings. So they did.
From Peruvian and Colombian mountains to the neighbourhoods of New Orleans and Harlem. And from Jamaican and Brazilian coasts to the rivers of Nigeria and Angola.
But that was not enough for them. They also travelled in time. From the early 1930's Swing era to the late 1970's Hip Hop and from the 1960's Chicha, Funk and Reggae to 1990's D'n'B.

 And then came a time when the Kick and the Snare got tired...and decided to seal all these records in a box, with the inscription:     ''The Carnibal Records'', and threw it in the ocean...

 The box was floating around the world for many years, until a mighty pirate called Spikos found it somewhere between the islands of Syros and Amorgos and trade it for a pink hat and 2 kilos of shrimps. 

 The box got unsealed by these two oddly monikered fishermen called 
Palov & Panama Cardoon. 
 Luckily the sea had shuffled the traditional sounds with the modern beats. They looked each other and their surpise came with the idea of releasing all these strange sounds.

 The year was 2012... and it was a nice year.

Pitch Mad Attak is the founder of the Mad Attak collective and a multifaceted artist who stands out for his versatility and creativity. In addition to music, he passionately dedicates himself to various art forms, ranging from drawing to sculpture, and creates graphics on request, demonstrating a unique ability to express his artistic vision. His musical journey began at a young age with the guitar, when he immersed himself in the punk scene playing in various groups. Subsequently, he approached reggae, participating in two distinct projects which led him to perform in numerous contexts, both local and national. His curiosity then led him to explore electronic music, where he quickly became an established producer. Currently, Pitch Mad Attak is mainly known for his productions in the field of tekno and hardtek, but his range of musical expression also includes genres such as frenchcore, new rave, electro with monkeymonsta name , drum and bass and techno. He has accumulated over 20 years of experience, performing at festivals and events across Europe. With more than 400 tracks under his belt, both on vinyl and digital, he has collaborated with prestigious labels such as AstroFoniK, Freestylelisten, Kickforkill and Undergroundtekno, with whom he maintains an active collaboration. With his art and music, Pitch Mad Attak continues to inspire and engage an ever-growing audience, consolidating his role as a key figure in the contemporary music and art scene.

Karlixx is a recognised dj/producer from the spanish jungle scene. In 2004, he started to play his first reggae and drum’n’bass sets to audiences. He focused his sets on an innovative mixture of dubwise and neurofunk creating a fresh new style.
Since then he´s continued to delight crowds with sets full of double drops, original mashups and a technique honed through his years of playing and his passion for music.
Over the years Karlixx has released a large number of raggajungle , reggae and electronic sets with thousands of downolads , his famous sets and mixtapes have earned him respect from the music scene. His mixtape “ It’s a Reggae Morning” was selected by industry recognised website ´Reggae. es´webmembers as the best reggae mixtape of the year 2014.
After more than ten years smashing dancefloors in Spain he decided to make the leap into producing music in the studio in a totally self taught way. Releasing his first tunes through the mexican label Low Freq as well as free downloads, and collaborations with friends, artists and new talents.
The essence of his production fuses electronic beats with caribbean influences like dub, dubwise, and dancehall plus hip-hop, with the heavy bass of jungle, tunes range from 140bpm to 175bpm.
Collaborations and fresh vocals feature highly. As he started to collaborate with more renowned and international producers Karlixx and friends created a new label.
In 2016 the spanish reggae and jungle label South Yard was launched , creating a new platform to release their own music.
During this period his gigs have evolved from the darkest sounds to the pure jamacian and caribbean sounds, loads of his own and his friends dubplates and productions have created good vibes on the dancefloor He has been resident for two years at The Bus sessions, Razzmatazz Club and the mighty Canibal Sound System sessions in Sala Apolo, in Barcelona, his hometown. Without any doubt Karlixx is one of the “numbah one” djs in the drum’n’bass and jungle scene in Spain.
His sets are a blast for the ears from the first beat to the last , always loaded with dancing riddims. There is little more to be said about this junglist who has played with the best, and in the best clubs and festivals all around Spain.

Farruko es un reggaeton y pop latino cantante de Puerto Rico. Su nombre de pila es Carlos Efrén Reyes, y nació en Bayamón, Puerto Rico en 1991. A la edad de 16 años, empezó a publicar sus canciones bajo su nombre artístico a MySpace. Su primer sencillo, "Sexo fuera del planeta", ganó miles de seguidores, y desde allí exploró el potencial de otras redes de medios sociales. Debido a su éxito masivo en Internet, él vino a la atención de la industria de radio y música de Puerto Rico, los ejecutivos que se alistaron su talento vocal para otros artistas. El álbum debut de Farruko, El Talento del Bloque, apareció cuando tenía 18 años Fue lanzado por Siente Music y distribuido por Universal. La mayor parte de sus 13 canciones eran auto-escritas. El conjunto se convirtió en un éxito casi instantáneo, y varios sencillos seguido de ella.
