this is great fun, love the live audience - i think they must be mostly mathematicians, because they fall silent while they try to count the layered beats!!

this is such a nice start sequence, with the audience and everything.

Euclidean Dub [disquiet0619]

I made a beat with Poly 2 and added some sort of bassline. Then I had the idea to sort of turn this into a live recording, so I slapped a snippet of a show by DJ Gruff on it. DJ Gruff, one of the pioneers of Italian hip hop, is also on the cover drawing. Much love to DJ Gruff - and to YOU too!

This was my initial entry for the Disquiet Junto 0619 contest. The prompt was to create a complex beat by successively accruing elements on top of one another.

Disquieting Polyrhythm (disquiet619)

I went with carles "Disquieting Polyrhythm" for this task!
First take, improvising with SOMA Terra through HOLOGRAM Microcosm.
Listened to the result and proudly realized that it all sounds a little and a little more like Tim Hecker :)
