Xiaoxuan Gao is a composer from China, currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London. She won the first prize (piano category) in the World Grand Prix International Music Contest in 2023; and the Grand Prize at the Classic Pure Vienna Composition Competition in October 2023 with her solo piano piece "18 minus 4-Forward."; She was the “Absolute winner”(an age group grand prize) in the composition category at the Bach International Music Competition in July 2024 with her vocal chamber music piece “Lang Tao Sha-Farewell”.
