Today we are proud to introduce " @eira_haul ". This Berlin based artist won us over with one of his latest EP's "Lonely Water" released last August on "@lemon-test ".  
Eira Haul has lived in a lot of different countries over his life and he told us that his diverse music taste and productions are a reflection of this. He also admits that regardless of where he lives his taste are continuously shifting and circling “With the lack of clubbing recently a lot of my attention has been focused on music outside of the 4-to-the-floor structure and I've also been excited to engage with genres that got me into electronic music originally such as jungle and breaks” he said.

Aquí de nuevo el infame y bochornoso colectivo de Escaparate 14/38 al habla. Para presentar a una súper artista de los tobillos a la coronilla. Por eso, estamos más contentos que un niño con zapatos nuevos. Sin más miramientos ni escuchamientos (ya paramos) os presentamos a Materia Hache / @materia_hache

‘La materia hache incomoda y desde ahí hace política. Está en una búsqueda permanente de desplazamiento colectivo a partir de una introspección individual. Es una forma de resistencia desde el cuerpo de baile para un cuestionamiento/desplazamiento individual/colectivo. Es aquello silencioso que está abierto al constante cambio: es lo QUEER, es lo TECHNO; es lo HOUSE; es lo que nace desde el miedo, la distancia y la incertidumbre; es todo aquello que intentan invisibilizar mientras desde el underground respondemos con ritmos que nos desplazan, que nos cuestionan, que nos convierten en una sola materia, al menos por unos instantes, más fuerte que cualquier forma dada.

Desde principios del 2020, Materia Hache centra su proyecto en la búsqueda de productores mujeres y/o no binaries, para dar visibilidad y voz a todas las que luchan por y para crear una pista de baile que merezca ser bailada. Actualmente programa fiestas y podcasts junto a su colectivo Others To The Front en Madrid. ‘

Esta vez en vez de poner las mamarrachas sin pegamento que nos definen, hemos preferido dar plena voz a nuestrx invitadx para que este espacio sirva como referencia también, para ensanchar los espacios dentro de lo intangible de la escena electrónica, que a veces poco se trabajo pero que es casi tan importante como lo material que lo rodea. 

1 h y 20 minutos de música de alta intensidad, expresión y personalidad que esperamos conecten con lo de más adentro vuestro, porque está hecha pa eso!

Materia Hache is a Berlin-based DJ, part of a new generation that still wants to make politics through the sound, the dancefloor and the mix. Founder of the queer-DIY collective OTHERS TO THE FRONT. They define themselves as a House DJ, understanding the genre as something dynamic and fluid. Their sound mixes old-school and new-school from 120bpm up to 140bpm, constantly trying to capture the heartbeat of the dancefloor.  You will dance to a range from jackin' techno to Underground House, from the deepest to the most uplifting beats, always in search of the groove and dance. Through their DJ sets they fight in order to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced, giving visibility and voice to the FLINTA&POC community.

Materia Hache troubles and from that troubling makes politics. It is in a permanent search of collective displacement from an individual introspection. It is a form of resistance from the dance body for an individual / collective question / displacement. Materia Hache is that silence that opens for constant change: it is QUEER, it is TECHNO, it is HOUSE; it is what is born from fear, distance and uncertainty; it is all that is tried to be kept invisible while from the underground we answer with rhythms that displace us, that question us, that turn us into only one matter, at least for a few moments, more loudly than any given form. Since the beginning of 2020 she has been immersed in the search for women and nonbinary producers to give visibility and voice to all those who fight for and to create a dance floor that deserves to be danced.

"This is an invitation to dance with a desperate attitude, constantly searching for a sensitivity that really remains open to tension with the unfathomable, the non reducible or the non conceptualized. 

Dancing as an attitude of non indifference, which holds in itself the core of any possible or impossible revolution, of any simple possibility of change, or of transgression, or of translation, or of creation. Or of future. 

Dancing as an action for time in a society that consumes and devours. To stop time as a way of giving distance so that what is lived at another speed can also be danced. To give distance as a way of listening.
Dancing as active listening for the care of the self and the encompassing community. Distance is the place of the in-between, the place of inadequacy and discomfort. Without distance there is no possible approach, nearness continues to leave a gap between two bodies, and it is precisely this gap that makes possible the rubbing, the touching, the caring. With the insecurity they carry. 
Ritual is a way of distancing, staging grief, homage to the remembrance."

Exploring the realms of drum machines, synthesizers and modular live sets, he developed a very specific and unique groove and sound, characterized by its smooth percussive flow with synth stabs and heavy drum hits. It wasn’t long before he started producing; from concept albums capturing the live-set experience, to meticulously thought-out EP’s. His latest release, a four-track EP called ‘Deus Ex Machina’, is a statement about the level of entanglement between humans and technology. 

Jack still has a predilection for vinyl; when he’s not playing modular, he’s most probably spinning records.

Materia Hache is a Berlin-based DJ, part of a new generation that still wants to make politics through the sound, the dancefloor and the mix. Founder and promoter of @otherstothefront and curator of their series #HouseOfOthers 
They define themselves as a House DJ, understanding the genre as something dynamic and fluid. Their sound mixes old-school and new-school from 120bpm up to 140bpm, constantly trying to capture the heartbeat of the dancefloor.  You will dance to a range from jackin' techno to Underground House, from the deepest to the most uplifting beats, always in search of the groove and dance. They understand the DJ Booth/Dancefloor relationship as elements that communicate and travel together, both part of the same thing. Nobody is more than anybody on the dancefloor. Through their DJ sets they fight in order to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced, giving visibility and voice to the FLINTA&POC community.
