Week 6 is a funky little jaunt through some tunes! Mostly on the chiller side, with a little bit of jump-up and more open/minimal tracks throughout. This one was more of a focus on longer form blending and letting the songs work together with the use of some looping and effects here and there!

Monday Weekly Mix #6 - 2/10/25

I met this weeks guest on the dance floor at a rave. I love that.  I was promoting for an event or handing out stickers or something and I asked him if he was into DNB..He pointed at his T shirt and laughed..then I saw it and I laughed and instantly is was like we had been friends for a long time. Thinking back, I can't remember what was on that shirt at all lol. He introduced himself and it turns out I had been seeing this guys name on flyers for a few years now. Originally from the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland tristate area, Dub Science used to spin Breakbeat on vinyl and has played at many older clubs (Nation, Club Five, etc.) in that tristate area.  He’s been a fan of Drum and Bass music since the late 90’s and after having a very long break has reinvented himself with a new name, a new genre, and fresh music.  His latest single “Seppuku” was released June 4th, 2025 on all platforms and is for sale on the iTunes Store and Beatport. Tracklist below

A few years ago me and DarciiDarka won a mixtape contest and got to play for Lucid dnb in Austin TX. It was awesome! We met a lot of  killer DJ's that night. When I met this weeks guest, I remember thinking she was super polite and very friendly. I had no idea she was also on the lineup. Then she went on and Rinsed the place. It was bananas.
