A one hour of original unreleased compositions made especially for recordat #0031 by @basel-naouri , aired first on May 15th, 2021 as part of the Sonic Liberation Front, an initiative for Palestine by a group of audio platforms and sound artists who came together to unify their sound for Palestine and protest against the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

Basel Naouri is a musician, producer and designer of sound and spatial media. His music does not commit to a specific genre and ranges from deep house to experimental and ambient soundscapes with Arab influence. He is a multi-instrumentalist who fuses sounds from samples and instruments to mold immersive stories of a tactile and detailed nature. In his other work, Basel is interested in translating natural systems and behaviors into immersive experiences through the design of multisensory media spaces. Basel works with diverse media on architectural, interior and sound design projects.

As a traveler-without-age, Damo Suzuki has been touring all over space-time. Presenting the light of “instant composing” to new generations, he refers to his makeshift collaborators as sound-carriers. Exactly fifty years after the release of the profoundly iconic Ege Bamyası, we can hear his voice on yet another fantastic album, as in “derived from fantasy.” Manifested from the meeting with Spiritczualic Enhancement Center -- an eight-piece group of self-proclaimed disciples from the CAN University have gathered at Arkaoda (Turkish for “backroom”).

Named after the place in Berlin where it was recorded, this release freewheels down the Autobahn of Consciousness as it swerves along that ancestral road. A witness of this session was quoted calling it “unfiltered, freeform, de-programming music.” The LP’s three volatile tracks called U, Ra, Beya (Japanese for “backroom”) are unity-enhancing non-boolean excerpts from this gathering at the beginning of 2020.

This edition of the program is a mix of music by artists involved in supporting the #MusiciansForPalestine project. Adam Kinner presents a solo saxophone track recorded on the floor at La Sala Rossa in Montreal. Anarchist Mountains Trio presents the piece A Free Palestine dream, out on @amekcollective in Sofia, Bulgaria and finally a series of tracks by Palestinian producer in NYC,  Raz Mesinai, from a recently released an album of the Badawi project called "A Tale of Two Cities."
