B.M.S. Ep. 3 - Can't Stop the Beat

I had the honor of providing a musical sound track for this unique next level event produced by DragonWolf Productions in Austin, Tx. This special event featured over 30 circus performers: Aerialists, contortionists, acrobats, flow artists, dancers, and clowns. This was a visual audio treat featuring a Bass Boss sound system, 70 watt lasers and high def visuals on massive LED walls. 

I curated this 36 track one hour journey specifically for this special occasion and selected songs from some of my current favorite producers. Please enjoy this Sonic Bass Journey and I hope to see ya on the dance floor at the next one!!!

The southern battle-waxer Gaddy continues to spearhead his brand of hip-hop fusion in Tabernacle Takeover. This fully packed EP wraps up brazen low-end and broken rhythms into a stereophonic one-inch-punch. 

Bass lines slice in and out of the beat in tandem with tight, bright percussion skittering across the stereo space. Each song slides into place across the album like a smooth lattice, ramping up in groove, swagger, and intensity from start to finish, channeling the vibe of late night L-rides and the stirred silica blowing off of city sidewalks. 

There's no substitute for being in the pocket, and Gaddy has a firm monopoly on pocketed rhythms across the hip-hop spectrum.

Andrei Olenev has been a staple of the west coast bass music scene for over a decade.
His first project, Heyoka, brought him to festivals all over the world after releasing his first EP in 2008. However over the last 8 years, he’s been producing and performing under the name Andreilien, and has since released many albums and EP’s through San Francisco’s Muti Music, a leader in the glitch hop and bass music scene.
His distinct musical style has a constantly evolving sound with a solid foundation of deep sub bass and heavy psychedelia, combining influences of many musical styles, without confining itself to any particular genre. An endeavour that has seen Andreilien maintain a heavy club and festival tour schedule, and established him as a regular act at North American events like Symbiosis, Sonic Bloom, Infrasound, Lightning In a Bottle, and large bass music camps at Burning Man – as well as many international festivals and clubs.
Constantly developing his sound with a focus on intricate edits and futuristic sound design, Andrei has a new project called Iterate, and will be releasing music under that moniker in 2021.

Jedi’s Chillout | Andreilien

It all began with a single electronic sound frequency pulsing through the body, instantly activating bliss. For over 20yrs, YawS has been moving dance floors across the country with his eclectic and energetic sound scape. Musical styles ranging from down tempo to drum and bass, psybass, glitchhop, house, techno,  and high energy electronic dance music. This DJ/producer will take you on a journey, and move you from one dimension to the next with his smooth blending and precise mixing of each and every soundtrack. 
Born and raised in Texas, growing up on a diet of blues, southern rock, heavy metal and hiphop.....it was only a matter of time before YawS fell in love with synthesizers and the dance music that would be a catalyst to blend all styles into one. 
Performing his first major event in 1999 for 1200 people at the San Bernadino Sports Arena in California, He got a feel for massive sound systems and the energy of those that love to dance. This was only the beginning as YawS continued to play hundreds of events all over Southern California. After moving back to Texas, YawS continued to rock dance floors playing along side many great headliners to include: Aphrodite, Baby Anne, DJ Icey, Keoki, Simply Jeff, R.A.W., Terry Mullan, Wolfgang Gartner, Hedflux, Desert Dwellers, Kayla Scintilla and many more....
Currently YawS has focused most audio attention on music production and remixing. Near completing a few new songs and remixes he has found a whole new respect for music and the beauty of moving people through complex sound frequencies. Stay tuned for the new tracks and be on the look out for any opportunity to get down and groove with this amazing artist.
