This past November, just before Thanksgiving, I had the pleasure of being invited to play some music at the Quimixtico Union Fest in Quimixto, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, along with my homies Gav (a.k.a. Deep Gav) and Mico the Donkey Whisperer. It was a grand adventure with our Donkey Tribe! 

Here is my late night Friday night set from Quimixtico. I tried to bring a bit of the playa )'( to the playa 🏝 Hope this helps you all ring in the new year, and say hasta luego to 2021!

Quimixtico Union Fest

Super fun night at Wayward on Feb 17, with great sets by the homies Jessica, KAR33M, and ZINI! This closing set was inspired by a lot of old school synth and 808 vibes, with a little dose of electric boogaloo groove. Much love to the many friends who came out to dance that night! Wowowowowowwwww what a night! I had the privilege to play a fundraiser for one of my favourite Burning Man crews, the Salty Jacks, at their fundraiser on June 4, 2022. It was an incredible night with amazing people and amazing vibes, and I joined a lineup of amazingly talented DJs, including local legends Mark Slee and Rachel Torro! And to top it all off, this night kicked off my birthday week! Not a bad way to celebrate another spin around the sun, right???

The June edition of Wayward brought together an amazing lineup consisting of Moray Rivers, Sage Farris, Major Trouble, and myself... and Major Trouble and I were also celebrating our birthdays (along with Ms. Trouble aka Rachael)! We had killer tunes all night, with Moray Rivers surprising us with a drum n bass closing set! Lots of amazing friends came through to round out a great night! Here's my opening set 🥳

Der Himmel über dem ewigen Nice flimmert in mattem Blau, die Luft ist schneidend klar – ein Tag wie gemacht für Großes. Die Forschungscrew Pastanaga steht bereit, die Grenzen des Bekannten zu verschieben. Nach monatelanger, akribischer Vorbereitung brechen sie heute auf: zur Expedition ins Herz des Südpols, mitten hinein ins ewige Nice.
Mit festem Blick, klarem Kopf und vollem Bewusstsein für die bevorstehenden Aufgaben und Freuden, gehen die Teilnehmer*innen an ihre Grenzen – und darüber hinaus. In den nächsten 24 Stunden zählt jeder Ton, jeder Handgriff ist Teil eines größeren Ziels: Die Exkursion erfolgreich, und mit maximalem Euphorie-Gewinn abzuschließen.

Sinyo Gryyyn - Another Day Fusion2025

Nachdem sich Dr. Schneckno in die Tiefen des Dark Downtempo zurückgezogen hatte, hielt er Wort – und erhob sich, gleich einer Erscheinung aus Nebel und Schatten, aufs Neue.
Mit feinem Gespür für das Verborgene führte er das diesjährige CoSy Festival auf eine Reise durch schattendurchwirkte Klanglandschaften – hypnotisch, düster und von wohltuender Rauheit.

Im mystisch illuminierten Drunter&Drüber Floor des Schlosses Dornburg an der Elbe, kunstvoll ausgestattet durch das Wiener Kollektiv @magikamusic, erklangen zu freitäglicher Mitternacht jene tiefen, rollenden Basslines, die nicht einfach gehört, sondern körperlich erfahren wurden – als bebendes Fundament unter der Zeit.

Ein aufrichtig’ Dank sei all jenen Tänzer:innen ausgesprochen, die sich erhoben und in seliger Eintracht dem zweistündigen Bassline-Korso hingegeben haben –
ihr habt das ehrwürdige Gemäuer bis in seine Grundfesten erschüttert und dem Schloss neues Leben eingehaucht.

🤘 Joséphine De Retour presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr. 307 🤘

Josephine's deep yet warm sound has been with us for several years now. Last year, at the Afterhour Sounds showcase at Kater, Arkadiusz met her and they chatted for a long time. Coincidentally, she also performed at her friends' showcase from Istanbul that evening at the Hopper floor. He decided to invite her to our series without further ado, as she plays a sound that we rarely have, yet still carries the typical, and above all, original Afterhour Sounds deep down. Hier wurde nicht zu viel versprochen: Wirklich bezaubernd cosy war das! Wir sind immer noch ganz verliebt in unsere neusten Schloßgeschichten und die ganz besonders sweete Crowd und Crew vom @cosy-festival ♥️🏰✨🧚‍♀️ @makaofficial und ich konnten also gar nicht anders als am Montagmorgen diese extra schmusige Afterhour zum Sonnenaufgang zu spielen. @ Garbicz Festival 2025 - Seebühne

Yaz is a San Francisco-based DJ who enjoys playing tech house, deep tech, minimal, and techno. He is an active member of the Burning Man community and underground house/techno community in San Francisco.

Yaz has played all over San Francisco at all the major venues, including Public Works, Mighty / The Great Northern, Monarch, Midway, and Halcyon. He was a resident DJ at the venerated Wish Lounge for 5+ years, running his monthly Wayward party right up until the pandemic caused Wish to close. Once it was safe to do so, he has taken Wayward to its new home F8 Nightclub, and has been a resident there since August 2021. 

Yaz has collaborated with many different promoters and labels, and has opened and closed for (or shared billing with) well-known artists including John Digweed, Bob Moses, The Scumfrog, Tommy Four Seven, John Monkman, Technasia, and Marques Wyatt, to name a few.

His love for Burning Man is only rivaled by his love for music. His styles go from deep tech, minimal and techno to indie dance. You can find him on the playa playing for his camp DeMentha, and everywhere else for The Janky Barge, Airpusher, and Icarus. Yaz has also participated in many fundraisers in San Francisco for the aforementioned camps, as well as DISTRIKT, Mayan Warrior, the Salty Jacks, and others.

I became disabled as a result of an accident diagnosed with post-traumatic encephalopathy (speech and walking are severely impaired, I suffer from increased tone - my muscles are constantly in tension). The treatment is very expensive, so I will be glad to receive every dollar from you.
