This mix begins like a quiet path at dusk. At first it moves slowly, almost cautiously, as if it’s getting to know you. Step by step, it pulls you in, until you suddenly realise you’re deep inside — warm, alive, wrapped in rhythm, in the bright and endless flow of movement.

At some point, the energy swells into something wild — a rush of colour, faces glowing in the dark, the rhythm carrying you higher and higher. But like every wave, it crests, softens, and begins to drift away. The music softens, guides you back, and returns you to where it all began — but you’re not the same as when you started.

It’s energy and kindness, a circle you travel through. Just like in life: every ending is only the beginning of something new.

Lets welcome Mia Kober for our next deep story. She is a New Zealand-based music curator renowned for her ability to craft silky sounds, soulful basslines, and curate immersive experiences. Mia stands as an integral pillar of the vibrant music community in NZ, leaving her mark on festivals like Shipwrecked, Fusion and Garbicz.

Mia’s mission goes beyond the decks she is a passionate advocate for creating immersive environments that transcend performance. Her impact ripples through the festival and event scene, where she plays an active role in shaping the culture from the inside out. She is also a founding member of Silk Collective, a mentorship platform dedicated to nurturing aspiring DJs and rising talent.

Her new mix came together on a long flight home, curated mid-air between continents. In a time of transition, as European summer fades into autumn and spring begins ahead. This is a mix from the in-between. A little on the gentler side: soft in touch, steady in motion, with deep grooves and rolling rhythms. Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.

What an amazing feeling to play at DeMentha for my second year. After a rough start battling the elements, Tuesday finally brought sunshine and with it, the good vibes. Super fun energy from the DeMentha dancefloor that day. Big hugs to my wolf pack for always showing up and to my Minty crew for the endless love and support. Still riding the high from Burning Man Decompression 2025 at the Loom in Oakland! Having missed the burn this year, it was extra special for me to join my minty brothers and sisters and help build and host a DeMentha stage (in collaboration with Sound Garden)! Nothing beats getting up on a stage in front of hundreds of like-minded weirdos and seeing a room full of smiling faces dancing and sweating the night away!

The event itself was a total home run. The Loom was a pretty perfect venue, and all the artists and makers and builders and creative people came to do what they do best! So many incredible art pieces, lights and shiny things, big sounds, awesome art cars, and just the perfect blend of creativity, community, and unabashed debauchery! Much love to all the incredible people there, and in particular, to my DeMentha family for giving it their all <3

Time to upload some STELLAR sets recording live during our ADE weekender The Seekers of Light! It was an EPIC edition, the family, the vibe and the incredible music.. 

We kick off with one banging set created by two specials that are very close to our heart. Omer Tayar and Landikhan have found both friendship as well as electrifying stage chemistry after meeting just little more than a year ago. The B2B was first discovered by WooMooN's Angie and already at a peak when they took the stage during ADE.

Let this set teleport you to the World of Babylon, close your eyes and imagine yourself once again on the dancefloor surrounded by all the amazing people, the warm energy. Everything!

Yaz is a San Francisco-based DJ who enjoys playing tech house, deep tech, minimal, and techno. He is an active member of the Burning Man community and underground house/techno community in San Francisco.

Yaz has played all over San Francisco at all the major venues, including Public Works, Mighty / The Great Northern, Monarch, Midway, and Halcyon. He was a resident DJ at the venerated Wish Lounge for 5+ years, running his monthly Wayward party right up until the pandemic caused Wish to close. Once it was safe to do so, he has taken Wayward to its new home F8 Nightclub, and has been a resident there since August 2021. 

Yaz has collaborated with many different promoters and labels, and has opened and closed for (or shared billing with) well-known artists including John Digweed, Bob Moses, The Scumfrog, Tommy Four Seven, John Monkman, Technasia, and Marques Wyatt, to name a few.

His love for Burning Man is only rivaled by his love for music. His styles go from deep tech, minimal and techno to indie dance. You can find him on the playa playing for his camp DeMentha, and everywhere else for The Janky Barge, Airpusher, and Icarus. Yaz has also participated in many fundraisers in San Francisco for the aforementioned camps, as well as DISTRIKT, Mayan Warrior, the Salty Jacks, and others.
