Do i even exist?
Am i part of you?
Was I made with flowers like the others too? 

Will I suffer like the rest of the garden?
Birthed to bloom, and wilt from pressures of your touch

Do I even exist?
Can I claim my blossom mine?
The soil beneath me gave me life as the sun shined

What’s there to cherish? 
This husk was built to comfort eyes
if it’d fail, then it'd be cut down from its height

Efforts to shed, regrow, rebirth, repeat
A final end to my own means
A means to an end left unreceived
Face my fate assigned to me

The constant molting of the skin
Has left a trail for bugs to eat
Space to burrow in my roots
For what does my essence precede


Planted by your hands of failure, 
Grown by your selfish, loathing heart,
Enveloped by your scalding light
and drowned by flood, for what you think is love

And place it in a house of glass away from harm

All that's left is gone now
I cannot go on
