Muk (Egle Naujokaityte, Lithuania) is a singer, DJ, radio hostess and avid propagator of unusual, experimental and non-conformist music. In the past she has been part of several musical projects in various parts of the world, and her work has been released on labels such as Bordello A Parigi (NL) and Industrial Coast (UK). Today she is part of the minimal synth duo @grisfuturo, but has also presented work in the field of contemporary and sound art in Lithuania (CAC Vilnius, Malonioji 6). As a dj and selector she stands out for her eclectic sets: she is not only known for her esoteric Fourth World-esque selections, but in more social environments and dancefloors she usually delivers a mix of shadows, psychedelics, synths and machine rhythms, where dark sounds play with light in a industrial-funk sensibility. Muk is also the author of radio shows for Cashmere Radio (The Hidden Reverse, La Casa del Obrero Mundial) in Berlin and LYL Radio (Canary Girl Island) in Lyon. Nowadays she appears on Radio Vilnius with her bimonthly show Musings & Drummings as well as on national Lithuanian radios alternative wing LRT Opus with the show Magiška muzika about the history of XX century alternative music and movements. At the same time he is developing her solo project Musetteandrums and running soundcloud channel Birds for the Mind.

And here we go, far out and yet so near, the third edition of “Risks Issues Opportunities” brings frontier reverberations scratching at the edges of dance, pop, downbeat, and other trance- portive sectors. Eight fast/slow propelling tracks. Adventurous, full of grandeur, gratifying the dance floor while equally winning the relaxation zones. Pure emotions crafted by newcomers. There is Milan’s Tagliabue, trancing slow and insightful. Or Cologne’s Grischerr, eloquently Tolouse-Low-Traxing. Some go down the slow burning road, where rhythms hang low, and suspense is in full show. Like London’s Frank Rodas, Garnu Depot from Iran, or Xei Ju from the islands of Micronesia, striking all ears with ghostly transcendental percussive science. An autumnally global voyage, which likewise offers industrialized districts by Italian producer Federico Cassetta, Metropolis minimal wave pop by Japanese musician Saeko Killy, or odd swamp funk by Chilean/German duo 7697 Miles. They all show, how far you can go, without losing your distinct flow.

Stacy Christine's foray into DJing took place under the wing of Joshua James of Music For Dancers (MFD) in 2012. Selecting records and cohosting several parties, it was at MFD that she made a fateful friendship with Chris Bowen of Bears in Space, LA. 

After the unfortunate closure of MFD, Chris Bowen took Stacy Christine on as a protégé, offering her her first DJ gig in 2015 at Bowen and Victor Rodriguez's monthly Friday night party, Cub Scout, a wilderness-themed party at Silver Lake's gay institution, Eagle LA.
