Sorea Shimazu aka Solea (pronounced as “So-Le-A”) was born in 1974, and raised in Yokohama, Japan. Encountered didgeridoo on the way of traveling across Asia, US, North-Africa, North Europe. After spending years in Hokkaido, north of Japan, he settled down in Tokyo, and joined Floatribe Live Session, which made him start his music career mainly in metropolitan, Tokyo. Now, he’s formed and started his solo project “SOLEA OVERTONE”. Splendid image with mellow and harmonic overtone sound is very unique and make people feel universality. ◆Sapporo, Hokkaido Joined with Ja Woo Doo, tribal unit who had joined World Festival of Sacred Music in Miyajima, Hiroshima; performed at Precious Hall ◆Tokyo Joined Floatribe Live Session along with Kaoru Inoue (seeds and ground), Kentaro Iwaki (Dub Archanoid Trim), Shigeru Tanabu (Solid State Soul) from BeatPharmacy, Sinsuke Fujieda from i-dep; performed at Unit.
