Info:
Radio Diffusion is an electronic music project founded by Hans Staudinger and Sebastian Badics - both DJs, producers and passionate music enthusiasts. Call it fate, coincidence or simply great timing, their paths crossed on a music event on a farm in the wilderness of Upper Austria. Soon they discovered their mutual romantic idea about electronic music and they joined forces in order to lift their power to a whole new level.
Of course neither of them are unknown in the Austrian music scene – lost in the Viennese downtempo-hype of the late 90s, Hans Staudinger already gained stage-experiences with live-electronic performances and residencies in eminent clubs such as FLEX and Donau. By 2006, he was co-founder of Flex Vinyls and a year later he published his first release "Now and Then", which clearly reflected his love for Chicago house. Hooked on techno and underground house, he started collecting vintage synthesizers and developed his producing skills while continuing his work on his farm.
While always feeling a great passion and appreciation for electronic music, it was during the late 90's that Sebastian Badics started to buy his own techno and house vinyl. From that point forward it did not take long until he began playing his own gigs at secret afterparties on a farm near Linz, which quickly led to various small but vastly successful events during the following years. While still producing techno and house in his home studio until 2004, his love from Drum n Bass eventually triggered a change in style. Only a year later, in 2005, he did Drum n Bass / Reggae events in some of Linz's most famous locations like the Tunnel, Posthof or Cembran Keller, quickly gaining more popularity among fans of the scene. While music was his passion, he still finished his studies in 2009 and started working at the renowned Ars Electronica Center, one of Linz's most well known attractions.
In 2010 Hans Staudinger teamed up with Sebastian Badics and RADIO DIFFUSION was born as an authentic’n’synergetic strike duo with a clear-cut course: REALNESS & EGALITÉ! Delivering their precious tunes on a par with their beloved crowd, their live-sets are always a well balanced blend of references to the past, snapshots of the present and their own progress.
Their biggest hit was a release with Compost Records in spring 2013. The single “BHVL” caught the attention of a huge audience and has been broadcasted on several radio stations in Austria (e.g. FM4) and beyond.
Heavy baselines, driving synth chords, sophisticated drum-programming – that’s the world of RADIO DIFFUSION!

This is the first track off my new "Dimensions EP". Called "Enter The Vortex", it goes back to the German Hard-Trance style of the 90s with its 168 BPM speed, acid 303 bassline and original synth sounds from the past. If you remember the early days of this sound from the likes of Gary D., DJ Gollum or Nostrum then you will feel right at home & raving as if you were back in a club in the Mid-1990s!

The 2nd track on the "Dimensions EP", called "Theme Of NonXistence", is diving deep into the history of Hard-Trance right back to the dark early 90s sound of Frankfurt, inspired heavily by early Harthouse releases as you would expect from Arpeggiators, Spicelab or Resistance D. While the first part of the track starts off with classic, atmospheric gated choirs, the main event takes you deep into a rave-cavern filled with smoke and strobelights. 160 BPM speed, a rolling kick & bass, plus hypnotic and aggressive lead stabs are designed to take you to a frenzy like it's only possible with early 90s vibes!

This is my interpretation of "JL - The Future", which is a little bit slower than my usual productions in 90s retro style (that's why it's not under the "Rave Xistence" alias). The slower tempo opens up the door for more interesting melodic variations of the original - hope you enjoy my remix!

This anthology brings to light the music of Robert ÆOLUS Myers, featuring recordings from 1982 to 2006 that were previously available only on cassette or CD. 

The music within 'A Retrospective' tells the story of a man whose music elevates its listeners to a place of inspiration and enlightenment. Often ethereal, ÆOLUS’ music is driven by synthesizers, melodic flutes, sweeping patterns, and subtle rhythms to seed inspiration from deep within the listener. 

One might assume that ÆOLUS carved a new path for electronic music in Hawaii, but the islands never quite fully embraced the burgeoning New Age scene that ÆOLUS found himself a part of during the 1980s and the early 1990s.

Started DJing in 1999, but my passion goes even deeper: I have lots of 90s vinyl in my collection (oldest is from 1991...!) and I still love to play the 90s sound, vinyl only of course! However I also really enjoy the current Drum&Bass sound, doing my radioshow on DnBRadio.com since 2014.

I feel most fortunate to have been able to play in other nice countries besides my home Germany: Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, UK ... and it always makes me happy to see other people enjoying my sets as much as I do myself. I like to go crazy behind the decks, and when people respond to that with nothing but positive energy it's the greatest thing in the world - there's no more "me" & "them" ... there's just "us"!

Whenever I have some free time I also produce my own tracks, currently using a hybrid studio setup with both virtual computer plugins, as well as hardware synthesizers, drummachines and effects.
