Rockyguns is the alias of Simona Argurio, an Italian techno producer and sound designer. Her passion for electronic music began in Vancouver in 2016, while studying Sound Engineering and Music Production at SAE North America. There, she discovered a raw and vibrant underground scene that changed the way she listened to and created music. During her time in the city, she performed at iconic venues such as the Red Room and the Hidden Room, further immersing herself in the local electronic scene.
After returning to Milan, she continued her journey at IED, focusing on Sound Design and deepening the connection between technique and personal expression.
Before diving into electronic music, Simona was trained as a pianist and played in numerous bands—experiences that enriched her musical sensitivity and still influence her approach to composition today.
Her sound blends elements of dark, groovy, hypnotic, and mental techno, with a focus on sonic exploration and rhythmic tension. Every set is a space to get lost in — no frills, no compromise.
