I have been a longtime aficionado of the works of Darren Roberts (@deepbass) and Reggy Van Oers (@reggy-van-oers), especially their cooperative CHPTR (@chptr) releases. I am serious: I possess all their vinyl releases and their latest release, which sadly was only released in digital form. However. This "EP" is part of my ongoing experiments, training and learning process. The "A side" track should be considered and homage/tribute and I have the sincerest hope you others out there can enjoy it as such. The "B side" track is an integral part of my journey forcing myself to working with lower tempo's, attempts of reduction whilst maintaining relevant to the "original". This track features more melodic layers. Funny thing, at some points it appears apparent that there are vocals added to the composition. There are not, it's your mind playing tricks with the percussion FX. I had to triple check myself :')

Gannein - Desiderium [GNRL002]

3. Gannein - Siamese : The undeniable main floor weapon. Forged with precise layers of functionality, this track is built for one purpose: to command the room with relentless, driving force.

4. Gannein - Pocket Full of Funky : The final act offers an optimistic turn. A soulful, Detroit-infused groove and a playful vocal fragment provide a welcome counterpoint, proving even the darkest sonic journeys can end with a moment of light.
