Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

"Love Letters" is a 1945 popular song with lyrics by Edward Heyman and music by Victor Young. The song appeared, without lyrics, in the movie of the same name, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1945 but lost out to “It Might as Well Be Spring”.

Dear friends, I have been so lucky to work with jazz songs from the 40-50s with Aleck Rand. He has sent me files, and now a file one step further in my jazz school, my attempt to learn scat :))) Sending you "Love Letters" ,  to wish you a really good autumn weekend. I still sing a little here on soundcloud, and I listen to music here and enjoy it. Very nice music is made here, I will probably never stop listening. So many nice, kind and gifted people here.

This beautifully surreal and uplifting cue takes the listener to a faraway journey of mystery.
It tells the story of many ancient cultures, thousands of miles apart. The Egyptians, Chinese, Ancient Greeks, Ancient India and Southern America Indians who worshipped nine primary Gods. The stories maybe different but the underlying message was the same.
Many believe that these Gods are the same ones across all these ancient cultures, at the core of it, an intergalactic council made of nine working forces monitor and guide humanity still to this very day

Every so often I kinda do spring cleaning. You know get rid of things that I don’t really need that sort of piled up over the years. It feels awesome after doing it. All this free space.
Anyway came across this old answering machine, well not that old, ( but left in a box filled with things I no longer use). which still had messages recorded inside. 
I listened to these messages. Boy it was strange to listen to them after such a long time.
This one in particular was from my boyfriend I was seeing at the time. We were both art students and we spent a lot of time together but each had our own place. 
Anyway one day after a fight we didn’t see each other for a few weeks. And he left many messages on my machine. I was angry so ignored his messages, but looking back, I think we loved to fight for the thrill of getting back together. It was one of those passionate but volatile relationship and exhausting at the same time. But we got back together in the end…….ahhhhh….happy endings. So here’s a message . Enjoy. Love to all. There were other questions, tougher than what I just did.

I am going to dedicate the month of November to composing. So I am going to review some old songs that I have remixed.

There will be 5 and it will be like a little trip back in time.

This is the first: Storm.

It is a theme from 2018. It is an orchestral composition with some electronic touches. Try to keep it dynamic but somewhat intriguing.

It is made with just one KV 331 track. The rest is pure Music Studio.

Made and published in 2.018.

OCHTENDGLOREN | Short Tales Part V

“Ochtendgloren” is a great Dutch word meaning “Dawn”. But in a more poetic sense, it has a sense of optimism, it holds a promise of a beautiful day to come. The morning dawns on the horizon...
The track travels through several different fields and textures, traveling acoustically through many different styles, I feel it’s hard to categorize where this would land in an overall description, but I guess World fusion comes closest. But it contains elements of classical, Jazz, flamenco, Latin, pop, rock, blues.

I play my Flamenco Negro guitar again in a setting of a guitar trio. In form it can be considered as a continuation of my Short Tales series. The lead guitar has long sections that are improvised over the bed of the two accompanying guitars.

I hope you will enjoy this fifth Short Tale and as always I really enjoy your likes, comments and shares. -Dan
