I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last bootleg I am going to press to wax. It's been fun and I hope you all enjoyed them but I think it's the right time to stop.

I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

So keep an eye out for new tracks! donate whatever you feel appropriate, of course you can still download if you can't afford to donate.

LUXXURY rips into 2022 like a goddamn hurricane with 'Somebody Tonight', featuring a sick ass slap n pop bassline, a dope ass driving beat, a yearning falsetto vocal with tons of reverb and a throbbing synthesizer line that would make Cerrone weep. What more could anyone possibly want in a dancefloor destroyer? This is *heat*, nothing more nothing less than a Towering Disco Inferno of a track. Buy it or risk being a laughingstock, Jeremy.

After the release of his “Paris Edits Vol.1” (G.A.M.M. Records) which reached #1 on the junodownload single charts last month, parisian producer Young Pulse strikes back with an unexpected version of “Happy“.

More than a remix, Pulse delivers here a true cover as he re-recorded his own voice on it which, in addition to the deep nu-disco arrangements he did, gives a brilliant result mixed of vintage and actual sounds, setting a unique mood, in a very glamorous way !

Beatnik City rolls it’s sleeves up, slowly dips it’s strong hands in a bowl of resin, then a bowl of haribo tangtastics, turns towards us and beckons us on for battle…but wait! Beatnik City is a lover, not a fighter! And this is Northern Beats Volume 2, which means only sunshine funshine and hijinks will ensue

Turns out the resin and haribo were for Aldo Vanucci’s vajazzle, who knew Hiphoppapotamus and Shimi Sonic owned their own sparkly sweets beauty parlour? DJ Ozyboy was in earlier for back sack and Caramac, Leygo is in room one having his Brazilian nuts, Badboe is in room two having a candy necklace - we’re pretty sure that is definitely porn. Superfort is early for his dirty herbert sherbet dib dab and Daytoner is in the toilet having a Curly Wurly, we’d best leave him to it. F-Block is having his hair set a fantastic candy floss pink and Retro the Robot is just smashing everything up with a giant rubber mallet, he’s been hitting the space dust quite hard and is likely expecting everything to explode into skittles.

Willy Wonka would most definitely approve of this kind of behaviour, taste the rainbow!
