Here's my 6-7 month baby. Been with me through every trial and tribulation this past year and I'm geeked to throw my demos out to the public to show y'all the new sounds and avenues I'm venturing into. This project was a test as much as it was a concept- I knew that "filler" is something i really connected to when watching anime as a concept and knew it could be a cool theme for a project. I just didn't know what for. That was until i wrote all of these songs within a 2-3 week span in the Summer of 2022. I knew I wanted to make something that says, "AHHHHHH THIS IS MY FRIEND SHAWN LISTEN TO THIS TRACK BITCH * no hands starts blastin*" but I knew I wasn't there yet. So I settled for what I had at the moment. The experiences I had then and there, resulting in something stuck in it's own little space.

What came to me was an adventure of my growth and a collection of my thoughts that I think everyone I've ever known, met, or connected with can relate to. In "if you wanna live, you gotta die!," I very proudly say, "we're talking that real life," as no matter where I go creatively, I will always, always, ALWAYS talk about my real life. Without a sliver of a doubt. My experiences are what hold me down to this project and I'm just GEEEEEKED to have it out. HAHA. IT'S OUT HEHEHEHE. STREAM THAT SHIT.

But yeah. "filler arc." goes through every emotion- it's the filler in between our everyday lives. It's the intrusive thoughts we try to drive out. It's the mania high we get when we feel like we're the shit. It's for everyone bro I'm telling you :) No matter where you're at in your life (preferably older; mature topics, etc.), you can see a part of yourself in every lyric I spit. Or not as we do live completely different experiences. Doesn't matter. What matters is that this is my way of connecting to the world, big brain metaphor done lol.

As for Spotify and Apple Music, for the last track "filler arc.," you guys will get a surprise new version that's more chantable and fun to sing. it'll be uplifting I promise. And yo, Jawny's Room, that track is allllll for you man (I never told him that I made that track lol). It's also a track for anyone that needs an uplift as well.
