Ethereal Decibel Company

Cajun is a Swiss-English producer and DJ that is now based in France. Born into a family of musicians and artists, from a very young age he started experimenting with instruments and then electronic production, music quickly became the driving passion in his life. Over many years he explored the depths of melody, groove, and rhythm, crossing many styles and emotions, free from the restraints of genres and codes.

It was an entirely selfish endeavour, a primal need for creative expression through the medium of sound, almost exclusively for his ears alone. But in 2021, after more than 10 years of electronic music production he decided to focus his energy into creating a liveset to share with the dancefloor. This new branch of his music fell loosely into the Psytechno category, with a focus on intricate melodies, deep groovy basslines and hypnotic funky percussion and rhythms.

🇬🇧 Benjamin Dacunka aka Bendja is self-taught multi-instrumentalist who distils music with influences from all over the world. At the crossroads of downtempo electro, trance rhythms and world music, his compositions also draw deeply from psychedelic rock and triphop. Convinced that the best sounds come from old wood, he mixes electric synths with the natural vibrations of acoustic instruments. Embark on a Pangaean odyssey, a muscular and abrasive revival of the 70s, a modern psychedelic flow that charts the course.

A la croisée de l’electro downtempo, des rythmes trance et de la world music, ses compositions puisent aussi profondément dans le psychedelic rock et le triphop. Convaincue que c’est dans le vieux bois que l’on sort les meilleurs sons, il mélange les synthés électriques aux vibrations naturelles des instruments acoustiques. Embarquez pour une odyssée pangéenne, un revival lancinant et abrasif des 70s, un flot psychédélique moderne qui trace la route.
