Afincado en Francia, lleva causando sensación en la escena techno underground desde finales de los 90. Con una extensa colección de vinilos y un talento especial para seleccionar temas que conectan con el público, Benales se ha convertido en un DJ respetado en Europa, actuando regularmente en clubes de primer nivel como Tresor, Rex Club, Radion o Le Sucre, y compartiendo escenario con artistas de renombre como DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, Dj Pete y James Ruskin.

Además de sus habilidades tras los platos, Benales es también un talentoso productor musical. YPNOTIKA is a Techno movement formed by music and art, a crossroad for different people who share the same interest in music and alternative expressions of dark arts.

Focusing on a unique and organic way to create safer space, activities, art, performances, music, and community that connect us and embrace us to be more of ourselves.

The Π (P) represents the wire netting fence and the Y represents a body with his hands up escaping the wire netting fence (Prison) of the body, the soul of YPNOTIKA, responsible for unifying different cultures, leaving aside any political oppression, A moment of empathy and harmony between ravers and their souls. 

Our music revolves around a mesmerizing and mysterious groove, which draws inspiration from the art of storytelling. Our aim is to create an immersive experience for our audience, allowing them to connect with their inner selves through hypnotic rhythms while they dance.
