DJ born in California, but is now living in Japan full time.  He has performed several years at Swallow Lodge during Fuji Rock Festival in Naeba Japan, several times at GreenHill in Yokosuka and several various shows in Sasebo Japan.  He is ready for more.  He is beginning his journey as a music producer and working on his beats. Resident DJ on ClubMix Radio.

Freak-When-See is an aspiring Beatmaker/Producer from Belfast UK.


Freak-When-See fell in love with dance music from an early age during the early 90's, borrowing (stealing lol) his older sisters vinyl records and cd's of artists like The Prodigy, The Shamen, Capella, 2 Unlimited and N'Trance to name a few. 



As Freak-When-See advanced into his mid teens he started making and swapping mixtapes with friends who were into the Hardcore Techno Rave scene, with artists such as Carl Cox, DJ Trix, Binman, Scooter, DJ Scott, Robbie Nelson and Tizer.



By the late 90's Freak-When-See became an avid clubber in the Belfast scene after listening to popular DJ's on BBC Radio One, like Pete Tong and Judge Jules who played the best House, Trance and Techno every weekend, which inspired him and his friends to frequent popular nightclubs like Paradise Lost, Thompson's Garage, Dempsey's Terrace and The Network.

Eclectic and diverse, I’ve DJ’d/ organised events across the UK and Australia for the last two decades. From progressive beats at Halo (with Global Underground) in Newcastle to Funks Not Dead in Manchester/ Sydney and a growing number of gigs around Brisbane/ Gold Coast, I love to serve up dance inducing sounds. You can also catch my weekly residency on Dance Freex Radio, which mainly focuses on deep and melodic sounds. It honestly doesn’t matter if I’m playing funk & soul, progressive or any other shade of house. I just love music and will share a few mixes on here. The “Social Prohibition” series is deep, melodic, poolside prog while "Dirty Disco" is nu-disco and funky/soulful house, and "Deep in the House" is awash with groovy deep house. Adam first began music production in March 2020 during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and like a lot of people who tried something new, quickly got the bug and the excitement of creating music that he and others would like to listen to.  

Working as a Triage Paramedic in the UK, the increased pressures on everyone in the control room was taking a massive its toll on his teams’ health and mental wellbeing. Recognising this, he used his love for creating music to keep spirits up and keep the team smiling. Working closely with his team, their encouragement and positive comments has only made the team stronger and helped Adam with new styles and genres.  

Being a lover of trance music and having spent many years listening to the likes of Paul Vandyke, Robert Miles, Judge Jules and Pete Tong,Adam wanted to try and recreate some of the magic and masterpieces that they created, but in his own style.  

Adam started trying to create music that crossed boundaries and mixed genres. He experimented with trying to mix trap beats with warm soothing trance undertones to make uplifting memorable melodies that make you smile and keep your toes tapping. Adam adores pianos with some orchestral flavour thrown in. He also loves trying to incorporate the sounds of the wild and sounds from everyday life.  

Adam continues to mix genres together to make something new to challenges the way we think of music. It is OK to try something new and find your own way and Adam is happily finding his feet whilst trying to etch his own music style. Music is an art, and we all see things and hear things differently buy hey, that’s life all over!

Think I might have found the type of track I enjoy making...well I seem to gravitate back to it :)

10 months in still enjoying making some tunes but seem to have stuck on the same style 😂 time to try another and come back to the other I think.
