Maria Vittoria Agresti, born in 1996 in Caserta, Italy, is an Italian composer whose main focus is on the exploration and study of timbre as a vehicle for the perception of sound. 

Began her piano studies at a very young age, she graduated at the Conservatory of Avellino with highest honours in composition and piano.

Then she completed postgraduate studies in composition at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Ivan Fedele.
During her time at the Academy she also attended the electronic music course with Michelangelo Lupone.

​Her works have received several awards and distinctions and she has collaborated with prominent composers and artists such as F. Filidei, C. Czernowin, F. Verunelli, M. Stroppa, M. Momi, N. Vassena, L. Ronchetti, J.M. Sánchez-Verdú, G. Cresta, A. Solbiati, G. Battistelli and others.

Her music has been performed in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Portugal by renowned ensembles and orchestras such as the Names Ensemble, AchRome Ensemble, RePercussion Trio, Concrete [Lab] Ensemble, Syntax Ensemble, NEMA Ensemble, G.G. Arrigoni strings Orchestra, Ensemble Dissonanzen, D'Este Symphonic Orchestra and by important soloist like F. D'Orazio, A. D'Errico, M. Boselli, E. Marchesini and others.

Currently at the "Accademia di Belle Arti" in Naples, doing a PhD in "Innovation, Technologies and New Materials for Art".

Born in Thessaloniki (Greece) in 1988, Sofia Avramidou graduated from the composition department of Aristotle University (Bachelor's and Master's degrees, 2009-2014) and from the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome (specialized Master's degree, 2014-2016), receiving the highest distinction in the class of Professor Ivan Fedele, as well as an excellence scholarship from the "Alexandros Onassis Foundation”.
In Paris, in 2020, she graduated from IRCAM's "Cursus de composition et d'informatique musicale".
She has been awarded numerous prizes, including the Goffredo Petrassi Prize from the Quirinal Palace in Rome (2016), 1st prize at the IX "Francisco Escudero" International Accordion Composition Competition (2016) in Spain, and 1st prize at the 6th "Dimitris Dragatakis" Composition Competition (2014), organized by the Greek Composers' Union. She participated in numerous composition courses and seminars, with Beat Furrer, Philippe Manoury, Georges Aperghis, Francesco Filidei, Yan Maresz, Jean-Luc Hervé, Franck Bedrossian, Dmitri Kurljandski...
Sofia Avramidou also collaborates with director Evangelia Kranioti, for the film "Obscuro Barroco", which received the Teddy Award at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival. That same year, she was selected by the Venice Biennale to compose the chamber opera "Rodi rodi, morsicchia! La casina chi rosicchia?" performed at the Teatro Piccolo Arsenale.
She has been commissioned by ensembles and institutions such as Ensemble Intercontemporain, Philharmonie de Paris, Ircam, Venice Biennale, Musikfabrik, Ictus, Lemanic Modern Ensemble, 2e2m, Radio-France, Festival Ensemble(s), Festival de Prades, Festival Nouveaux Horizons, Orchestre National de Jazz, ECHO, Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon, Auditorium Orchestre National de Lyon....
Her compositions have been performed at the Philharmonie of Paris, the Musikverein (Vienna), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the Bozar (Brussels), the Barbican (London), the Elbphilharmonie (Hamburg), the Philharmonie of Cologne, the Venice Biennale, the Auditori (Barcelona), the Festspielhaus (Baden-Baden), the Philharmonie of Luxembourg, the Auditorium of Lyon, the Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome), the Teatro La Fenice (Venice), the Boston University, the Megaron (Athens)...
Alongside composition, Sofia Avramidou studies Byzantine music, Hymnology, Oud and Ney instrument, as well as traditional Greek singing.
As a singer, she collaborates with various ensembles and orchestras, such as the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the Thessaloniki Municipal Orchestra, the Raanana Symphony Orchestra (Israel)...

 In 2018, she arranged traditional songs for voice and clarinet and recorded the album "Binôme" in Greece.

Davide Spina nasce a Palermo nel 1997. Si diploma in pianoforte e Composizione con il massimo dei voti, si specializza poi sotto la guida dei compositori, Salvatore Sciarrino, Francesco Filidei, Oscar Strasnoy e Andrea Portera.
La sua musica è stata eseguita in vari istituzioni ed enti, tra cui il Teatro Massimo di Palermo, il teatro Bozar di Bruxelles, il FontanaMix ensemble, il Festival Gamo e altri.
Nel 2021 riceve il suo brano Chiaroscuro riceve la menzione speciale al prestigioso concorso di Composizione “2 agosto” (BO). Nel 2023 viene selezionato al Concorso di Composizione e residenza artistica “ragazzi e ragazze Salvemini” dove ha la possibilità di collaborare con il flautista Manuel Zurria.
La sua opera compositiva include lavori per orchestra, ensemble, solista e genere vocale. Nella sua musica vengono indagati i problemi sociali della società contemporanea. Tematiche come il Phubbing, il Ghosting o la più diffusa FOMO diventano centro di ricerca per una musica attuale e densa di significato. Nella sua musica si può scorgere una ricerca che mette in relazione tradizione e innovazione, dove ogni mezzo musicale viene utilizzato per scopi espressivi.
Attualmente si dedica alla ricerca e alla scrittura di lavori per ensemble.

Yuheng Chen was born in 1998 in Jinan, China, and is currently based in Vienna. After completing composition studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Karlheinz Essl, Michael Jarrell and Clara Iannotta, Chen began working with the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) in 2024.

Chen’s work focuses on the boundaries of instrumental sound and the fragile balance between noise and effect, transforming the fragmented and volatile emotional fabric of contemporary life into vivid sonic structures. As a composer and performer, Chen explores sound modulation as a medium for poetic transformation.

Chen has been awarded multiple prizes, including the 1st Prize at the 46th Irino Prize (Japan), 3rd Prize at the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award 2023, and the 1st Prize at both the Appassionato Ensemble International Composition Competition and the Frank Robert Abell Young Composers Competition (USA). In 2022, Chen was a finalist for the Ö1 Talentebörse-Kompositionspreis.

Chen’s music has been performed at festivals such as Witten Tage für neue Kammermusik, Gaudeamus festival, Impuls Festival Graz, Klangspuren Schwaz, Tokyo OperaCity Composium, Mixtur Festival Barcelona, Wien Modern, and Bludenzer Tage zeitgemäßer Musik. Performers include the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Talea, Ensemble Phace, Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Platypus, and others.

Chen has received commissions from institutions and ensembles including Ensemble Recherche (2024/25), Ensemble Phace (2026), Ensemble Modern akademie, Ensemble Platypus, Alte Schmiede Wien, Argo Kollektiv and others.

Parallel to composition, Yuheng Chen is active as an improviser and organizer of contemporary music events, collaborating in Vienna with groups such as the Argo Kollektiv and the Interharmonics Elektroakustichemusik Lab.

Damián Gorandi (Argentinean, born in 1991). He has finished his master in composition at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in the class of Stefano Gervasoni. He attended the CURSUS IRCAM  in Composition and in Computer Music in Paris. 


Also, he has finished his higher studies of composition at the Haute école des arts du Rhin Strasbourg. He studied electroacoustic music at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, Germany. In Argentina he obtained the superior title of professor in composition at the Alberto Ginastera Conservatory. 


He has worked with instrumental ensembles such as Ensemble Intercontemporain, Klangforum Wien, Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Accroche Note, Ensemble Next, Ensemble L'Imaginaire, Ensemble Platyplus, Ensemble Names, the Untref string quartet, the Barcelona Modern Ensemble, Ensemble Fractals, Ensemble Synaesthesis, Ensemble Intercolor,  Ensemble arthaus, among others.


His music is frequently programmed in Europe, North and South America and Asia in festivals as Manifeste (Paris), Festival Présence (Paris), Festival Musica (Strasbourg), Festival Impuls (Vienne/Graz),National Philharmonic of Moscow, Next generation at the ZKM (Germany), the Festival Nycemf in New York, the Festival Crossroads Mozarteum (Vienne), Samplers Series (L’auditori, Barcelona), in the CCK (Buenos Aires), Seoul International Computer Music Festiva (Korea), Le festival Arsmondo organized by L'Opéra national du Rhin, Among, others.


He has followed the teachings of Stefano Gervasoni, Luis Naon, Yan Maresz, Daniel D'Adamo, Tom Mays, Jorge Sad, Elsa Justel, Robin Minard, Joao Pedro Oliveira, Thierry de Mey.


He has won many international prizes, some of them like the international impuls composition competition, Ina-GRM - Concours Banc d'Essai, 1st Prix Internationale Sommerakademie Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien 2018, 1 ̊ Prize Taukay Edizioni Musicali international composition competition, the 1 ̊  Prize Russolo,  Prix foundation Salabert, International prix Ibermusicas. 1 ̊ prize of the Fundation Destellos, 1 ̊ prize KLANG! International Composition, 1 ̊ prize in the international competitions of the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar, 2 ̊ prize in the international competition Via nova contemporary music Thüringen, among others. From Argentina he won the 1 ̊ Sadaic prize,    1 ̊ Trinac prize (2016 and 2017), The prix "Juan carlos Paz", 1 ̊ Triarg Prize, among others. 


He has been invited as judge in several international competitions such as the competition of Fundation Destellos or the Iannis Xenakis International Electronic Music Competition (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). As professor has been invited by the Haute école des arts de Berne to give courses and lessons in composition. 


He received the support of Gisela Timmermann grant from the Mozarteum Argentino, from Ibermusicas, from the Conservatoire de Strasbourg after winning the Notoriety scholarship from fondation de France, and also from Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
