Milan Steenwinkel follows with ‘Hold Me’, delivering a deep, introspective journey through layered textures, rhythmic tension and longing vocals. Closing the release, JNSN returns with ‘Time’, blending emotive chords and energetic percussion into a richly uplifting track. A seamless fusion of melody, emotion and forward-thinking production, ‘Fragments XXXI’ adds another bold chapter to the evolving compilation series.

The ‘Fragments XXXI’ artwork is a photograph taken by Kelsey Williamson, featuring mobula rays during their migration in the Sea of Cortez off the coast of Baja. Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Often called “the world’s aquarium,” the Sea of Cortez is one of the few places on Earth where thousands of mobula rays gather in spectacular mass aggregations. By working closely with local fishers and coastal communities, CEDO (@cedointercultural) promotes sustainable practices that safeguard species like mobulas and the health of the entire Gulf of California.

JNSN - Time

A staple name on Purified Records, Dan Sushi returns with his striking two-track ‘Horizon’ EP. A Colombian biologist, UW photographer, and expedition leader, Juan has dedicated his life and work to ocean advocacy. His camera serves as a powerful tool to share his passion and highlight the importance of protecting our planet.

Each winter, thousands of humpback whales return to the warm, sheltered bays of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Safeguarding these waters is the mission of EcoBac (@ecologiayconservacionballenas), which coordinates RABEN - a first-of-its-kind national network of trained professionals and volunteers stationed along key points of the coastline, ready to respond when whales become entangled in fishing gear.

Blended x Oxbin - Elevate

 Moments, the acclaimed label, presents its nineteenth edition with a two-track release that continues the distinctive artistic vision. Spanning over fifteen minutes, the musical material unites label head and award-winning producer Guy Mantzur with Kamilo Sanclemente, the celebrated DJ and electronic music producer from Cali, Colombia. Their collaboration invites discerning listeners into a refined and immersive auditory journey.

The opening track, Nectar, delivers a brisk and vigorous rhythm anchored by a Giorgio Moroder-inspired bassline. A textured atmosphere unfolds over a classic house chord sequence, gradually expanding into an uplifting and psychedelic arrangement. This progression culminates in a dynamic climax crafted to ignite the dance floor with a surge of energy.

The second track, The Future is in the Past, built on similar aesthetic foundations, introduces a more tempered intensity. Its transcendent tone, reaching a peak in the final third, evokes the feeling of cinematic space exploration. True to its title, the piece merges historical echoes with forward-looking sound design.
