Earlier this year, we were invited by our Westival family to take on our first stage takeover. Featuring a state of the art 360° grid booth powered by d&b audiotechnik and the immersive production to match, we welcomed two names who possess a finely-tuned affinity for crowd captivation.

Flying the flag for Liverpool’s well-nourished club scene, Aerofunk + 4D rolled through with their irreplicable sound of bubbling alien funk to entice the crowd through the musk of the night. The Dome was alight witnessing first-hand synergy, amplifying the whispers of Aerofunk b2b 4D as they ricochet through the valleys and spread across the underground.

We're super happy to have our friend Teddy on board for the third mix in our Sounds Nice series. We first heard Ted play at Dusty Flyers Club last summer. He impressed us so much that we asked him to contribute to our series as soon as he finished his set! 

The end result did not disappoint, it's a lovely journey through downtempo, breakbeat and into some creamy house. His dedication to digging is highly evident in this mix and he's firmly on our list as someone to watch out for in the years to come. We hope you enjoy!

Co-founder of French trio 192gmbh, Reusbi is an equal part driving force and musical influence that takes his cues from all corners of the sonic sphere. Possessing a penchant for the lush as much as the noisy, his tastes are impossibly hard to pin down, but this is the beauty in his style. With curve balls waiting at every turn, there is really no guessing which direction is next on the agenda, but having the skills to take you there is an entirely different proposition. This is something that Reusbi and his two cohorts have in spades. Word is also getting out, as, like our party at Hoppetosse a few weeks back many more are clamouring for a slice of what he has in his record bag.

Being able to mix the smooth with the wonky is a skill that few can harness as deftly as Reusbi can. His selections are well hidden, his vibe eclectic but not for the sake of being so, and his transitions are smooth like butter. As well as nu school gems the Frenchman is also not afraid to offer a timely reminder of cross over nuggets such as Claude Von Stroke’s eerily satisfying “Who’s Afraid Of Detroit”. After all, Djing is all about context and his tracks segue so well together partly down to the fine curation of his music. This is an ethos that shines out of his mix for our InSession series that will draw fans and future fans back to this mix again and again.
