So, if you watch the ocean and you look up to the sky and then the seas are overcoming the land
 and the people are not the same ones that I remember yesterday
 something new is happening

the wind is blowing left to right and that is something new to me
and the spider's walking backwards and the birds are going under the sea
everyone is looking like they're all living so happily
 but that's just something that doesn't happen
No, it never really happens not for me 
I don't know if you have noticed but it seems that something has occurred to me
because my neighbor stopped being an ass hole
 and my boss is giving me a raise
and my self-destructive tendencies seem to all have gone away

And we try to do it right, but we know that its sunk deep inside
and we all just want to do what's best for us.
And nobody will help you when you've fallen down and you can't move so get your fucking asses up right now.
The time is passing can't you hear it ticking, running out of it, you're looking over there, but right in front of you is where you need to go but you're gonna stay right there watching all your friends get trampled by the ones that really want it. The ones who really want it.
You let them fall you watched them die and now you're on your way to die as well. You can't save yourself if you can't save someone else, no you can't stop running away. Every day. As pathetic as it is.

Through the mind across my soul
 the hill I climb it takes its toll.
My shoes worn down 
my mouth is dry
 long as it takes by day or night.
I've come so far but Ive hardly moved, 
shaking the hands of those I've proved, 
wrong but my worth is only mine.

My levels of our energy are not where they're supposed to be
I can't keep on pushing I've lied to myself
 tricking me that there's something else

 because all of us could take some time
 to think about the things we like
 and if you pay attention soon you'll find
 all your efforts a waste of time.

Little kids running off to school learning that there's something that's so damn cool
 to get the real good grades, get a real good job
 make their parents proud but what's it all for. 
your goanna die, youre gonna die, and when you're there 
you'll be broke just like the rest of us all
So why you gonna push yourself a little bit harder 
when a little bit harder gets you no more.
It's the way you see
It dawned on me
I am sitting here, I cannot believe
ALL the things I've said and donel, is this the mind of an open door 
I don't think i can push no more
 found the time and the time weas more
 than I ever wanted to put forth.
All of this shit isn't worth it no more
So I have found the end of my line
When Im gone you you can all sit back and rewind
reminisce about the shit we did 
how we fucking wasted time and said
 that we was gonna be something great
 but mother fucker don't you know that its just too late.
it all just doesn't matter no more
You won't find what you're looking for 
spend your life worrying about something
 that you will never find time is just wasting 
 you always try to find a smile, 
but it looks like its gonna take a while
 success is just an empty lie
dont fucking waste your time and try
 you know you cannot live here no more
start a path that's going on
 you work so fucking hard just to get along
