The Autistic Dude is a multifaceted storyteller an acclaimed music writer and a rising force in the music scene. Val is an Autistic male, who has overcome life challenges through music, blending lyrical craftsmanship with keen social observation, The Autistic Dude, crafts songs that illuminate the complexities of mental health, physical health, rural areas, city life, resilience, and ambition, while maintaining an editor’s precision and a journalist’s curiosity.

Born in Africa, raised in the UK, Val The Autistic Dude found rhythm early in life, drawing inspiration from the city’s soundscape, the snare of late-night underground trains, the violence which surrounds our everyday life, the hum of neighborhood talk, and the poetry of everyday moments. He pursued music with the same discipline that fuels his verses, rigorous research, thoughtful lyricism, and a relentless work ethic.

Music Career
Val The Autistic Dude launched his career in 2007, releasing various singles which he later described it as a tough healing period of his life, he earned attention for his intimate storytelling, high level of rhymes and razor-sharp wordplay, inspiring other's like him, specially those on the autism spectrum.
His sound marries classic boom bap sensibilities with modern grit, featuring soulful samples, hard-hitting drums, and melodies that long linger after the final bar.
