For Za’ed Na’es, the past period of quarantine allowed the group to rediscover their musical styles and brought closure to some of their old projects. Recorded over 3 years ago, “Nesting Grounds” is a cultivation of 4-5 years of experimentation, a fragment of space and time where we rediscovered sound and style. 
This release marks an end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one for Za’ed Na’es.

True to their name, which translates into plus-minus, Zaed-Naes oscillates across several elements. Featuring guest musicians or vocalists, their project derives its energy from constant motion.  Since 2013, Zaed-Naes who contributed to the emergence of the middle eastern underground music scene, has been creating experimental electroacoustic performances throughout intimate venues and festivals.
Narrowing down the group's style proves difficult, between Basel Naouri, Amjad Shahrour, and Ammar Urabi, they bring together elements of jazz, trip-hop, loop-based electronica, and post-rock to form a unique sound -guided by local and regional influences.
