I love listening to the classic Game Cube Animal Crossing music rip and, as I'm working in a animal-related game, I thought it would be fun to write some loops trying to imitate its quirky, minimal and fun original music, just to develop a bunch of ideas.

Used instruments are not as lo-fi as they should, but it's a quick exercise :)

I wrote this song in the context of the (first ever?) #maj7 Reverse Review Revue, an event where participants wrote reviews for imaginary songs with both a positive and negative aspect, which were then mixed up and handed back out, with the task to reverse-engineer the review by composing a song from it!

My prompt was: 
"This song got me a lot of excitement and had me tearing up at the same time thanks to the string pads using some of my favorite chord progressions I heard of so far and it doesn't necessarily shy away from transitioning into different tones while keeping the original atmosphere it delivers so successfully.
However. this sounds a bit like the mastering engineer's computer crashed in the middle of rendering the final track, but somehow no one caught it - didn't see that one coming…"

For given reasons, the track I'm releasing here is a reaction to the review on a meta-level (the master issues were fixed with an apology)
