For @eliasmazian, music is a time capsule - a form of transport to somewhere safe and secluded away from every day worries. It is a way for the Dutchman with Moroccan roots to express his deepest emotions and connect the music of his childhood with contemporary sounds from around the world. He showcased this with us at Dekmantel Connects back in 2021 and always in the music he makes. 

He crafts a moody and atmospheric start to this week's podcast with melancholic melody over languid beats. There's then a slow shift to the dance floor before party-starting house jacks your body with plenty of hands-in-the-air pianos and ever more pumping basslines. It's a high-energy selection that wears its heart proudly on its sleeve.

When we talk about identity and elaborated universes with coherence, two names cames naturally. 
The first one, Dream Software, is a brilliant graphic designer with an over marked identity, and his universe borrows his mixes of a very particular flavor as soon as it is a question of appreciating a work within a coherent whole. sånti co-head of Karagi crew and its mix serie drawings lulled with a delicious drollery. This fits perfectly with its weird leftfield dub & rock experimentations but also with every attempt to explore trancey and mental sonorities. 
For the 30th mixes they meet around a soaring and mindwave music.

Here's something from somewhere down under.

Myles Mac is a dj based in Australia, Melbourne to be precise. He is the founder and curator behind the quite magnificent online platform and mix series, Melbourne Deepcast. The series has played host to some of the most innovative and interesting figures in dance and electronic music and has fast become one of the most influential out there. 

Myles himself is an eclectic dj, channeling a broad range of musical influences and styles. He meanders between house, techno, electronics and the spaces which exist in between. He dj's both independently and as one half of Project 95 - when he takes to the turntables there is a sense that you might hear something unexpected and unique as we present in this instance.

We invited Myles to record a mix for our series and he delivers in fine style.
