Very ancient Ukrainian carol which The Doox had recorded in 2016 yet! The main version of the song was created in cooperation with another Ukrainian Folk Rock band: with KoraLLi.

the doox — is UA band, creates music in the folk-rock, world music styles, combining the ancient Ukrainian folklore with modern electronic and rock-style tunes.

Their repertoire comprises the songs from ethnological field trips and the records of traditional music from the Wołyń, Riwne, Kyiw, Połtava and others regions. The musicians try to combine ethnic sounds and melodies from all over the world, playing a variety of wind instruments of Ukraine and abroad.

The highlight of the band's music is a fusion of male and female voices in the traditional manner of singing. The band’s live outdoors performances cause a real sensation and get across the footlight.

Band The Doox was formed in spring of 2014, and led by Maksím Bereżniuk, the renowned multi-instrumentalist and piper. The musicians participated in a number of popular Ukrainian and Polish festivals.

Дуже давня українська колядка, яку The Doox записали ще у 2016 році! Основна версія пісні була створена у співпраці з іншим українським фолк-рок гуртом - КораЛЛі.

The Dоох — український етно-рок колектив. Це новий фолк в цікавій сопілково-драйвовій обробці. Неповторне на UA фолк-рок сцені поєднання чоловічого і жіночого «народних» голосів з басами гітар.

The Doox експериментують з музикою і можуть виступати як в легкому акустичному лаунж-форматі, так і з сильним драйвовим саундом. На музику групи покладені пісні з усіх куточків України. Музиканти прагнуть осучаснити народний фольклор і таким чином познайомити слухачів із українським колоритом.

В Україні колектив уже встиг виступити на різних відомих фестивалях та в київських арт-клубах, часто концертує в Польщі та іншім заграниччю.

The Doox is a Ukrainian ethno-rock band, founded in 2013. This is a new folk in an interesting flutes and drive arrangement. A unique combination of male and female “folk” voices with bass guitar on the Ukrainian folk-rock scene.

The Doox experiment with music and can perform both in a light acoustic lounge format and with a strong driving & rock sound. The band's music is based on songs from all over Ukraine. The musicians strive to modernize folk folklore and thus introduce listeners to the Ukrainian flavor.

The Doox можуть виступати як в легкому акустичному лаунж-форматі, так і з сильним гітарним деренчанєм. На музику групи покладені пісні з усіх куточків України. Музиканти прагнуть осучаснити фольклор і таким чином познайомити слухачів з українським співаним колоритом.

В Україні колектив уже встиг виступити на різних відомих фестивалях та в київських арт-клубах, до початку війни на Україні був частим гостем на заграничних дійствах: насамперід, зрозуміло, в Польщі :0))

Заложителями ватаги The Dоох є два хлопаки корінням з Рівного:

Тарас Перетятко, їкий почав експериментувати з фольком ще в формації Etno XL,

a також Максим Бережнюк, знаний за творчим псеудом як "Дудар".
Починав Максим в рурки дути ще в такому ню-етно-метальовому гурті як Мерва, але тепер він є чи не найзнаменитішим в Україні гудцем на народних духових інструментах, учні якого виступають в таких проєктах, як Kazka, Go_A, Kalush Orchestra та єньчих.
