Part 3, the final step in the Disquiet Junto asynchronous collaboration series!

I decided to pick up where "Do Androids Dream of Sleep" by Fake Genius and undermulden left off (https://soundcloud.com/undermulden/fakeg3nius-undermulden-do-androids-dream-of-sleep-2-of-3-disquiet0637?in=disquiet/sets/disquiet-junto-project-0637). There was plenty of tension and activity and a strong sense of space in what they'd done. There was an almost foley-like acousmatic quality to what undermulden had brought in to Fake Genius's ethereal setting. I didn't hear anything that was missing musically, so I reached way deep into the Internet Archive to source some spoken audio for samples.

undermulden had commented that there was a lullaby-like quality to what Fake Genius had done, and that gave me the inspiration to go digging for children's books. I found 30 minutes of audio, "A Child's World of Sounds", archived from a 1963 LP. I listened to the Part 2 music on repeat while I scrubbed through the audio, grabbing samples that fit the mood. I did some processing on them and then imported them into Logic to arrange. I took a sort of refrigerator-magnet-poetry approach until the samples fit together and worked with the other material. I think it came together nicely.
