I hoping to collaborate with a couple of musical friends in the new year to try out the new studio one of them has built. The music will be mostly build around drums, bass, guitar, and synths and anything else we feel will add to the experience.

With this in mind I have started putting together some early demo ideas and the others will do the same. We'll then sit down, have a listen, keep what we like, add new elements, and generally have a lot of fun (I hope) making some music!  

No idea how many tracks we'll put together but I'm hoping for four at least. This track is something I've put together as a test bed for ideas. I wonder how much will be used?...

Crystalline Entity (Demo)

Zenlike Creature was initially set up as a side-project, born out of a love of the psychedelic music scene.

It could be said that this project is almost 30 years in the making since that wonderful summer of 93 and that first listen of the Ozric Tentacles 'Live Underslunky' album - it certainly opened more than just eyes! 

Since then it's been a continual music adventure hunting down bands and artists of similar style and genre. Whilst not always fruitful, there is a selection of bands/artists who have helped shape and influence Zenlike Creature and this work would not have happened without them: Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Shpongle, Steve Hillage, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind. 

The bands/artists above have taken us on some fantastic musical journeys and adventures and Zenlike Creature hopes to take you on some similar journeys too.
