New Zealand feels like a home away from home and I always enjoy playing there. This time was super special because it's been a few years between visits and I was accompanied by some of the closest Aussie producers/DJ's. Following on from my brother @pspiralife, it was great to bring the tempo up ad bang it out!

"Obsidian Pathways" is an extended journey of the MECHANICAL SPECIES live set, performed at the Forestdelic Label Night in Mexico, November 2024. This mix traverses the full spectrum of psytrance, beginning with groovy morning grooves and ascending into the immersive depths of full psychedelia, offering a seamless exploration of sonic dimensions. The Mechanical Species project is the culmination of 14 years of audionomic exploration. His style is diverse, stretching from dusk to dawn, and is characterized by storytelling, often incorporating melodic elements and unpredictable compositions. He is well known for his energetic live performances, which have been experienced at parties and festivals in 17 countries worldwide.  As one of the early members of Forestdelic Records, he played a key role in shaping the Forestdelic sound. Additionally, he collaborates with a wide range of artists and labels from across the globe.
