Liquid Bloom, founded by producer Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers | Desert Trax), is a visionary world-electronic project that bridges ancient traditions with modern production to create immersive, transformative sound journeys. Ihre Affinität zu organischen und groovigen Live-Acts erkannten die beiden aus Thun (Schweiz) stammenden DJs Ride und Steven K bereits zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts. Insbesondere die Bereicherung ihrer DJ-Sets mit jazzigen und funkigen Saxophoneinlagen hatte es den beiden angetan. Mit dem virtuosen und bekannten Saxophonisten Tommy Inderbinen (Candy Dulfer, Glenn Ferris) verstand man sich von Beginn weg bestens und fand schnell grosse musikalische Parallelen. Diese Symbiose aus DJ-ing und Live-Sax-Performance mutierte rasch zum gefragten Live-Act und Auftritte wie im Berner Kornhauskeller oder am Thunfest bleiben unvergesslich.

Ride gründete im Jahr 2009 zusammen mit seinem Geschäftspartner Terry Lex das Musiklabel „Push On Music“, welches zwischenzeitlich eine Vielzahl von Werken internationaler Künstler veröffentlichte. 

Im Jahr 2010 veröffentlichte Ride auf diesem Label seine erste Single „Streetlife“, auf welcher Tommy Inderbinen einen Sax-Hook beisteuerte und Ava June die Vocalparts einsang. Die Single erweckte internationales Aufsehen und fand den Weg in Radio-Rotations in Europa, Mittelamerika und Australien. Nachdem der Song in der in Insiderkreisen beliebten Housepacific Radio Show von Mastermind Christian Hornbostel gespielt wurde, kam auch die Anfrage von k-Tel, den Song auf die Tracklist der offiziellen Chillhouse-CD der Streetparade 2010 zu setzen. Selbstverständlich stimmte Ride der Anfrage gerne zu und performte in der Folge auch gleich sein neustes Live-Set auf einem Lovemobile an der Streetparade in Zürich. Die Streetparade Chillhouse-CD mit „Streetlife“ erreichte im August 2010 die Top-20 der offiziellen Schweizer Hitparade.

Zur gleichen Zeit entwickelte Steven K die Idee, den Live-Act-Ansatz weiter zu entwickeln und entwarf zusammen mit dem Toningenieur/Produzenten Dave Raaflaub die Idee, das Ganze in ein Bandprojekt zu überführen. Hierfür tüftelten sie an geeigneten und neuen Sounds und produzierten zusammen mit dem Keyboarder Philltron erste vielversprechende Demos.

Während dessen arbeitete Ride an der neuen Single „The Jazz“, welche 2011 auf „Push On Music“ erschien. Hierfür wurden Aufnahmen aus Studiosessions mit Tommy Inderbinen, dem Pianisten Dr. Nicevalley (Wanderwäg) und dem Bassisten J.D. Schöde Reusser (Soundkitchen) verwendet. Die Single stiess wiederum auf internationale Resonanz und fand Einzug in diverse Radio-Shows und DJ-Mixes. Anschliessend folgte eine weitere Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ride und Dr. Nicevalley. Sie durften den Hit „You’re gonna make it“ der New Yorker Soul-Legende Kenny Bobien remixen, welcher Ende 2011 veröffentlicht wurde. Die positiven Feedbacks bestätigten den eingeschlagenen Weg und so wuchs auch in Ride die Vision einer Weiterentwicklung des Live-Projekts. 

Das Eine führte schlussendlich zum Anderen. Da Ride und Steven K nach wie vor in Kontakt stehen und auch gemeinsame Auftritte bestreiten, besprachen sie ihre Zukunftsvisionen und machten gemeinsam mit Dave Raaflaub erste Studioaufnahmen. Die Feedbacks von Musikerkollegen und Kritikern auf die Demos waren derart gut, dass die Drei beschlossen, inskünftig die vorhandenen Talente und Kräfte zu bündeln und fortan gemeinsam weiter zu machen. Deepsession war definitiv geboren! Bestehend aus dem Produzenten-Team Ride, Steven K und Dave Raaflaub, wobei Dave Raaflaub auch fürs Live-Mixing und Engineering zuständig ist.

Um die Vision einer groovigen, jazzigen und rockigen Deep-Elektroband umsetzen zu können, musste also eine professionelle Studio- und Live-Band zusammen gestellt werden. Schnell war klar, dass man mit den bewährten Musikern Tommy Inderbinen, Dr. Nicevalley, Philltron und J.D. Schöde Reusser weiter arbeiten will. Um das Klangspektrum zu komplettieren und der Live-Performance die benötigte rockige Attitüde zu verleihen wurde die bestehende Truppe mit dem vielseitigen Rockgitarristen Fraze von Colafluid ergänzt. Die Gesangs- und MC-Front konnte mit dem erfolgreichen und talentierten Lenell Brown (Mitwirkung am Hit-Album 2012 von Remady und Manu-L, Backingvocals bei Steff la Cheffe) besetzt werden.

Offizeilles Release-Datum der ersten Deepsession-Single „Do it Like That“ mit Lenell Brown ist am 09. November 2012. Der Titel besticht durch einen mitreissenden groovigen Beat, funkige Disco-Elemente und durch kraftvolle Vocals. Die Produktion auf Top-Niveau wurde gemixt von James Hoover (Grammy Award Winner, Beyoncé, ZZ Top, Spice Girls, Lionel Richie, Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode) und gemastert von John Moran (Beteiligung an mehreren Gold- und Platinum-Alben, Grammy- und Oskar-Gewinner-Produktionen).

Die Veröffentlichung des ersten Studio-Albums von Deepsession ist für 2013 geplant. Darin soll die ganze Bandbreite der Band abgedeckt werden. Die Reise führt von groovigen Dancetracks über rockige Titel bis hin zu Triphop- und Jazz-Anleihen. Die Veröffentlichung kann mit Spannung erwartet werden.

Anschiessend will die Band nach einer würdigen Releaseparty ausgesuchte Live-Auftritte bestreiten. Die moderne Mixtur aus mitreissenden, dancetauglichen Beats von Ride und Steven K ergänzt mit einer erstklassig besetzten Band verspricht ein Live-Erlebnis der Extraklasse.

Als Mitwirkende in diesem spannenden und sich zusehends entwickelnden Live-Electro-Genres steht Deepsession im Zentrum einer zukunftsträchtigen Live-Performance-Stilrichtung. Auch Top-Acts wie Lenny Kravitz haben diesen Trend erfasst und bereits zusammen mit DJs und eigener Band grossartige Live-Electro-Konzerte gegeben und das Publikum begeistert.

Shaman's Dream is a musical prayer for healing, transformation, love, and happiness for all beings.

Sahuna Love (Founder of Shaman's Dream) is a Multi-percussionist, DJ, Music Producer, Medicine Ceremony Facilitator, and Healing Arts Practitioner. Sahuna is inspired by the spiritual musical lineages from around the globe and the healing power of the drum. Every Shaman's Dream offering is a ceremony and opportunity for all who receive the music to create an intention and prayer for their own lives, utilizing the music as medicine.

Shaman’s Dream, Sahuna's multi-faceted music collective, has been at the forefront of the yoga, festival and ecstatic dance music scene, since 1995. As a producer and the musical director he's facilitated hundreds of ecstatic dance/ “live” world music concerts, plus countless live music for yoga classes and ritual retreats. Sahuna's other projects included being the co-founder of Yogitunes - www.yogitunes.com - an online digital music store that features a huge selection of yoga inspired music, Co-Producer of Ecstatic Dance Retreats, and co-producer of Desert Dwellers projects –Waves, Flames, Roots, and many other Downtempo music projects. 

As a percussionist, Sahuna has performed with countless music producers and performers such as: Porangui,  Bluetech, Desert Dwellers, Kaminanda, David Starfire, Yaima, FreQ Nasty, Jason Hann (EOTO& String Cheese), Isaac Chambers, Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Dave Stringer, C.C. White, Donna De Lory, Tina Malia, Chris Berry and many others. 

Presently, Craig is performing and helping to produce/ stage manage for many of the transformational festivals and yoga/ ecstatic dance communities all over the world. Some events include– Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, Beloved, Wanderlust, Envision, Imagine, Bhaktifest, Shaktifest, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Yoga Journal Conference, Etc...
