Jahriffe’s passion for seeking truth and wisdom has been combined to inspire and create the soulfully artistic delivery of The JAH-N-I Roots Movement. It has made a permanent mark in the genre of Roots Reggae, with a Melodic R&B soul twist for the past twelve years. JAH-N-I Roots  was formed in 2001, as a vision of JahRiffe to impact people around the world with music.  

The first album in 2005 - titled “Rastafari Love”, received huge attention from around the world, in the states and other countries such as Belgium, France and Germany.   The track titled “Food” was featured on a youth development program called the Citizen’s School.  
The vision of The Jah-N-I Roots Movement is recognized for showcasing Culture and Education. This brings about a more sustainable life.

Through the years JAH-N-I Roots feat JAHRIFFE has been actively involved in the musical arena.  Jahriffe performed acoustically in the documentary “Discovering Rastafari”  - which was displayed in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.  The Movement has been privileged to combine the talents of Berklee Music School students along with the individual contributions of great musicians, such as Simon Rochester, Felix Fantasia and Derek Wood. They helped to cultivate an expertise that allowed to share stages with such legendary acts as Steven and Ky Mani Marley, Midnite, Anthony B, Mighty Diamonds, Freddie McGregor, Queen Ifrica and Tony Rebel. The Jah-N-I Movement feat. JahRiffe brings talented musicians from near and far for great causes... MUSIC, LOVE and LIFE

The recent completion in 2013, of the second full length album titled - “Check Your Timing”which is also a single.   A life of Naturalism and rigorous Social Activism is amply reflected with a riveting blend of consciousness-raising lyrics, subtle messages and a persistent groove. In the selection “Empress,” another single off the ‘Check you Timing’ album, it encourages women to carry themselves regally.  Other timeless singles such as “Praise Jah” and “Love is One”, assists Jah-N-I Movement feat. JahRiffe's mission of communicating Love, Peace, Prosperity and a sense of Purpose to the masses. JahRiffe invites one and all to “Seize the time, for life is short and art is long.” 

 JAH-N-I Roots feat. JahRiffe has been nominated for the Boston Urban Awards for Best Roots Band 2007.  
The Movement is a Networking of Musicians that are all realized through JahRiffe's vision of building a world for generations to come.
