"My very dear friend Niki Sadeki asked for a podcast for Deep House Vancouver quite a while ago, but I was always busy and after we finally found a date I delayed it again and again :D I guess because she never gave me a proper deadline which I normally need to get started. Finally I managed to finish the mix which is a something in-between podcast and DJ set I would have played live. So the first part could stand alone but at some point I decided I want to keep going and brought up the energy again. I guess I’m more than ready to go back on stage. Hope to see you all soon! As happy playing at a small underground club in East Germany in the 90s as she is playing to thousands of festival-goers at Burning Man - Mira is one of those artists of whom you can truly say that she’s doing it for the love of the music.

I can't find the words to describe the feeling I had while playing this set on the playa of AfrikaBurn 2022. I played more than 20 hours that week on our mutant vehicle The Flying Dutchman, but this set between 2 and 5 a.m. on Friday night/Saturday morning was really something special. Every piece of the puzzle just fell exactly in its right place, if you were there you know what I mean. Thanks so much if you were part of it, and thanks again if you're joining the fun now.

In gewissen Situationen ist eine Entscheidung für das Kollektiv, auch die gewinnbringendste Wahl für einen selbst. Ein Perspektivwechsel kann einem da buchstäblich die Augen öffnen. Oft ist die Lösung nur einen Katzensprung entfernt …

I took over a packed Acid Bogen at midnight after @mira_kater's amazing set. 
It took me a bit to get into my flow, but the moment it went off, I enjoyed it so much, especially seeing all the happy people dancing.

I dropped some new gems alongside many all-time favorites but also tracks I never dared to play before.
I felt again why I love doing that and how important it is to surround yourself with like-minded and inspiring people. I can't wait to come back. 🙃

Mira - The Monastery 2019

With 12 she listened to rock music and played guitar. Futhermore her interest for music was ignited when she discovered that she had Synesthesia, a neurological condition that in her case perceives sounds and melodies as colors and shapes. After moving to Berlin in 2013 at the age of 20, Zişan began discovering the electronic dance scene and got introduced to a wonder of new rhythms and sounds. Since 2019 she started DJing in clubs and festivals. Her Turkish roots shines through her track selection and it is indeed an oriental express of a journey that Zişan puts her audience on. Latest Zişan started a new monthly running mix project “SPIRITUALIZED“, a full moon ritual touching the theme of each full moon meaning.
