Ki:Theory is American recording artist and producer Joel Burleson. He has spent the span of his career crafting his own style of dark electronic rock music, landing him on blockbuster TV shows and movies such as Ghost In The Shell, KIN, Fear The Walking Dead, CSI, Tron:Legacy Reconfigured, How To Get Away With Murder and The Following. 

His prolific recording career includes multiple iTunes Electronic and Alternative chart #1s and commissioned remixes for Daft Punk, ODESZA, Cypress Hill, Rob Zombie, Queens Of The Stone Age and RÜFÜS DU SOL among others.  Ki:Theory's electrifying live show has been recruited by the likes of Purity Ring, Phantogram, Passion Pit, DJ Shadow, Sparta, and Baths for tour support.

Signing her first management contract at the age of 16, Amanda has already accomplished more in the first five years of her career than most will in a lifetime. Some of her accomplishments include: Second place in the CMA's "Music City Rising Star" vocal competition in Nashville, TN; Winner of Roanoke VA's "Dazzle Idol"; Runner up in the Virginia "Oh Say Can You Sing Contest"; and she has made it through to the executive producer rounds on "The Voice", "American Idol", "The X Factor" and "Nashville Star".

This has taken me on a journey of trying to combine my love of exploring and documenting nature with my passion for recording and understanding sound. The idea has since manifested into a number of interesting projects and is in a constant state of evolution. I like the idea of using art as a way to understand the world of science, using imagination to explore scientific ideas beyond the limits of traditional scientific methodology.

I have built up the gear to record and capture sounds for use in films, interviews and music projects or you can check out the library of sounds. I have worked on a number of film projects in a number of different roles and enjoy working behind the camera, which has helped how I work with sound. I like being able to provide a different point of view and unique service for people who like the idea of thinking outside the box, because I live outside the box.
