Philanthropist 2.0 in his city, passionate about the electronic drive and tireless promoter in a constant struggle to maintain the Galician club culture, Roi champions his mission, to a large extent, being an active part of the Fanzine label project, which he co-directs together with The Panic Room.

Bio : Zizerk is a Brooklyn-based dj and producer from Spain. His productions and selections are characterized by emotive dark cuts of electro and breaks, seasoned with acid textures and dips into jungle and UK bass. With a background in architecture and classical piano, he brings authenticity to his music through exciting avant-garde sounds.
He is currently releasing music with Fanzine Records (Spain), Micro Vision Recordings (Brooklyn) and collaborating on compilations with several NY labels. His last release Melting Storm EP had a great response in the underground electro scene and made it to the best electro charts on various platforms on June 2022.
Zizerk has been djing for more than 15 years and has developed a refined technique of mixing, always keeping the dance floor dynamic and evolving throughout the set. He’s had residences in several clubs, festivals and events, shared line-ups with established international artists and became the resident dj at the prominent electronic club in his home town. Since moving to NY, he's performed in numerous clubs, radio shows, events and galleries.

Mix description : With this mix Zizerk brings a wide range of personal emotions to the table, low key electro and acid melodies transport the listener into a comfortable underground atmosphere, followed by expansive breaks and resounding syncopated rhythms, all mixed with a well balanced European influence.

It all started with the ramblings of two dreamers, Roi and The Panic Room, when they embarked on this adventure fourteen years ago due to their common passion.

14 years full of unforgettable experiences, beautiful collaborations and magical musical moments. 14 years full of enthusiasm and struggle despite obstacles and errors that have emerged in the path of these two music passionates and led to a numerous amount of lessons and successes.

Fanzine Project is an event promoter, record label and school linked to avant-garde electronic music and the disclosure of new video art formats. Since its inception in 2008, the project has been constantly evolving: From the regular Fanzine Club events, to the annual Fanzine Fest, a sound and visual experience in which varied musical styles converge in emblematic locations of A Coruña, passing through the record platform Fanzine Records.

As a final culmination of the 14th anniversary celebrations, Fanzine Project has compiled 14 tracks from different artists in the "14 Years Fanzine compilation”.

The musical spectrum of Fanzine Records has extended thanks to this compilation, some tracks have a more defined musical style and focused on the dance floor, and other tracks will be creations that go beyond and do not fit within any particular music genre.

14 original productions created by artists who have already been part of the Fanzine family for some time, together with newcomers.

His last releases Melting Storm EP and Cannibal Star EP had great responses in the underground electro scene, making it to the best electro charts on various platforms and being also featured by artists such as Laurent Garnier.

He’s had residences in several clubs, festivals and events, shared line-ups with established international artists and became the resident dj at the prominent electronic club in his home town.
