Hiking alone off-trail through the mountainous wilderness of the Brenta Dolomites in Northern Italy back in 2017, Colombian American producer/dj and Bossa Nova Civic Club resident zorenLo found himself up the wrong side of the mountain and with one wrong move off the edge of a cliff. “I thought I was gonna die for sure,” he says recalling “a kind of life-flashing-before-my-eyes moment as I rolled seemingly endlessly down the mountain.” zorenLo landed with a broken elbow, busted phone, various unknown head wounds, and a surge of adrenaline in the face of survival that would carry him limping and delirious through the forty five minute long journey to the nearest stranger who called the medical helicopter that saved his life.



“As I limped down the trail I felt a lot of blood coming from my head so I wanted to take a picture to see what the damage was.” Having broken his phone in the fall, he used a GoPro to take the photo that now comprises the artwork for his new single Brenta — zorenLo’s chaotic yet cathartic meditation on the accident that nearly ended his life.



Initially recorded during a ten-day stint in an Italian hospital immediately post his accident, Brenta is the culmination of a trilogy of releases zorenLo wrote inspired by that day and released via Circular Jaw and Loveless Records. Balancing experimental sensibilities with a clear narrative structure that literally tells the story of that day, Brenta is a peak for the young producer’s already fruitful output.



On the flip side — Colombian American producer Nick León proves why he’s one of the most beloved figures in the Miami dance music underground with the absolute skyscraper of a remix that fuses thundering percussion, spaced-out synth surges, and Guaracha energy for a big room trojan horse that could rock fútbol stadiums. A prolific and exciting force, Nick León has had incredible releases with folks like Mexico City institution N.A.A.F.I., Miami acid savants INVT, and Colombian label Insurgentes’ outstanding new TraTraTrax sub-label. 



Sorry Records is a Brooklyn-based independent label putting out beloved pop and dance music since 2015. "zorenLo is a Colombian-American DJ, Producer, Promoter, and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn. Perhaps best known for his residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club, his party “Rollup” has become a mainstay for Bushwick’s most open-minded and adventurous clubgoers since it was founded in 2018.

He’s currently on tour in Colombia, playing in some of the country’s most important and iconic venues such as @videoclubx & @madradio.co, as well as debuting Rollup internationally with a new residency at @espaciokb. When it returns stateside, Rollup will continue its ascension by featuring the top names in Latin club music, with eclectic combinations of local and international talent.

As a producer, he has prominent releases on labels throughout Europe and the US, with two recent highlights being on NYC’s own @sorry_records and @lovelessrecordsbk. zorenLo’s dynamic sound is heavily influenced by his cultural roots, playfully fusing Reggaeton/Dembow and other Latin music with Techno and Club rhythms - always looking to do what hasn’t been done before musically to bring any crowd to a frenzy. This mix is no exception, containing a wide range of styles and some adventurous mixing, to keep the energy driving forward and exploring new frontiers until the last gasp. It’s a taste of what he’s been playing out lately - shades of Guaracha, Techno, Dembow, UK Bass, Club, Raptor House, Trance, Baile Funk, and certain other vibes that genre labels fall short of describing.
