Synthwave is a microgenre[10][11] of electronic music[1] that draws predominantly from 1980s films, video games, and cartoons,[12] as well as composers such as John Carpenter, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and Tangerine Dream.[13][14] Other reference points include electronic dance music genres including house, synth, and nu-disco.[15] It is primarily an instrumental genre, although there are occasional exceptions to the rule.[16] Common tempos are between 80 and 118 BPM, while more upbeat tracks may be between 128 and 140 BPM.[17]

I'm an east London producer, song writer, sound designer and vocalist. 'Fluff' is my solo project. (I'm the other half of trip-hop duo www.soundcloud.com/silverstreaks). 

Fluff-music combines traditional songwriting, indie, electronic, goth, ethereal/synth pop and experimental/cinematic sound design into powerful, emotional sound scapes. Manipulated field recordings and audio textures add suggestive sounds to evoke raw and visceral emotions in the listener. 

Influences: 
Indie/art rock, darkwave and the electroclash scene in the mid 00s.

'Down the Rabbit Hole' is a reflection on our world as it is today. Greedy, destructive, homogenised, selfish and exploitative. But we're resilient creatures. There are some fun, light-hearted tongue-in-cheek stories of adaptation and survival by becoming pretty fabulous.

A dark, sonic post-apocalyptic nightmare vision, dealing with events of the recent past, present and not so distant future: Social apathy, lethargy and indifference, public obedience, compliance and conformity, social paranoia, genetic mutations, nuclear threat, post apocalypse and human extinction.
